Yes, it can indeed. We find it is often glossed over due to the complexities and technical interpretation that is required. Not what you want when dealing with materials that can cause serious harm (or worse!).☺

Hi Sami, it comes from the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations in the UK - the term is not typically used directly for regulations outside of the UK but may be used loosely in some English-speaking countries as a general reference term relating to chemical risk management. 😀
