So, here's the thing. The whole thing with KyurenOh that was made in the design process was making your roleplay gimmick front & centre, that's why they're in your face and given all the light functionality as compared to making something sleek for the sake of working on its own. Pros or cons, whatever you see this design choice as, they went with it and that means I believe it should also be judged by the functionality you don't see when just buying the mecha on its own. Cause on its own, you have what may just be prettier orbs for shelf pieces but then you bring roleplay into it, the orbs are significantly more useable than the counterpart. Changer with a reader, weapon with a Kyutama slot if we're going by what was actually made with a counterpart in PR. I just think when you make the play feature so obvious, it's kinda weird to not play into it. Then there's how Hasbro has not been able to complete a toyline yet despite showing more on the screen for all three seasons they've made but I'll leave that gripe to another day.
