I felt the urge to craft a crossbow, and I thought, why not take you along for the ride?
First, I made a simple template and then carved the basic shape out of 3cm Styrofoam - smoothed the edges with sandpaper and removed that characteristic styrofoam texture. It was quite a mess.
The limbs are made of a layer of 4mm foam reinforced with a bit more 4mm foam. I can easily slide it through the front opening.
