Andrew's stop motion was hilarious. And, for most purposes this Ruby wouldn't be good but as a dice the bubbles give rather than take away. What a beautiful piece.

I think with the bubbles, its like wine that had just been uncorked, or perhaps, the boiling blood of a berserker!

I really enjoy working with precious synthetic stones. They're much more affordable, yet the make-up is exactly like the natural stones except with much fewer flaws. Your dice videos (and accompanying music) is always a treat to watch. Thanks for another great video!

The star reminds me of a New Year ornament. I’m from Russia, and it’s still fairly common to put a red star on the top of the fir tree when decorating (instead of something like an angel - religion being banned for a while there in the 20th century). When the light was catching the facets and the red star glowed it reminded me of when I was a child, looking up at the decorated tree in anticipation of presents. Beautiful.

I'm pretty sure this is what Abu tried to steal from the Cave of Wonder that got him and Aladdin trapped in there.

Incredible work! The frosted edges on the stars are gorgeous, and the bubbles that make that a poor gem for jewelry make it an absolutely gorgeous die! I'd love to see a die with the sides frosted and the stars polished, especially something really dark like lab-grown sapphire.

I think the bubbles are crucial. They draw you in "ah it's a normal d20" but then you notice the edges are too crisp, the surfaces aren't just flat they're *faceted*. Gorgeous!

Well, I'm sad that I wasn't the one to bring you the ruby, but I'm really happy to see it done! This must have taken FOREVER since it's basically the same material as your polishing compound. Oh, and hi Andrew! I have to say I'm a little disappointed you didn't show this thing off under UV. Ruby fluoresces brightly under UV and this thing would light up like the 4th of july. On that note, I do miss the rock facts we got in some of your earlier videos.

the bubbles refract light differently meaning there is a starlight effect going on inside the die, its even better than just being clear, beautiful.

It's always a treat watching each die slowly taking shape, and the final product is consistently stunning.

If I wasn't a poor college student helping out my family I'd send you a blank check and ask for a set for my best pals. As I am broke and in college and supporting family, I will have daydreams of the perfect heist with these dice as the purpose in me robbing banks.

I've wanted a ruby or sapphire D20 for ages, and ever since I started watching your video, I thought about saving up to commission one. Eventually I did luck out and find a small sapphire one of okay quality, which I'm thrilled of even still.. But damn brother, you out-do yourself as a craftsman with every stone you premiere. I love the attention to detail, the design, the frosted edges are always absolutely gorgeous, and a great idea from Andrew to just frost the stars! Also the timelapse where you wore down the face was a fantastic touch too. Please never stop making youtube videos, your work is just..breathtaking.

Just finished a DnD 5E session with two of my young grandsons, oldest daughter, and my wife. The little guys loved it and managed to make it to the end of the adventure and reap the rewards. This video is a nice way for me to relax after DM'ing. Awesome job on the die. Just straight up wow.

I loved the almost stop motion / timelapse editing of Andrew spinning in place and wandering around the workshop, and the stop motion / timelapse of you cutting one of the facets in the die as it progressed lower and lower was superb videography also, absolutely adored it. When I say I was in awe for this entire video. I mean it. The die alone is insanely beautiful and the imperfections make it even more-so. Andrew's editing left me speechless, as well. I've edited videos in small increments and the level of detail regarding key-framing and bringing detail to life in terms of lighting, camera work, and cutting and pasting together bits is ridiculous. Both of you did exceptional work with this one! Beautifully and masterfully done!
