Cosplay Posing 102: Posing With Another Person 

cosplay poses with a stranger and group of strangers, please :D

I would use this........ If I had any anime/nerdy friends.

Poor Kevin looks so uncomfortable.

How about poses with strangers at a con? Like, when people notice your cosplay and want a picture? How do you pose with someone for a simple camera phone?

The pose at 12:31 would be a good one for Sebastian and Ciel from Black Butler or Grell and Sebastian. Like, Ciel could use the pose that Kevin has and be holding a chess piece or a small pistol while Sebastian be on the ground with his knives and forks ready to throw at an opponent. With Grell instead of Ciel for the picture, Sebastian could hold the same pose as what I said before and Grell just replace Ciel, but be holding his chainsaw or scissors and be casting that pervy/creepy "I want you" look at Sebastian. You could also reverse their positions. Grell on the ground giving his signature wink-with-tongue-out pose and Sebastian standing with his back to the camera; a sinister smirk on his face and his knives and forks drawn. That's just an idea, though. I'm an artist/photographer (not professional or anything) and a major otaku, so that pose just sparked some brainstorming in me. XD

My friend and I attended a con dressed as Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee from RWBY. Our best pictures were taken when we were simply talking to each other. Romantic poses work well when you're close with the other person. If i hadnt known my Ruby we wouldn't have had some awesome shots

If one of you, either your partner or you are flexible enough. I quite enjoy the kick blocking pose.

It has nothing to do with the real great video, but could you make a tutorial for the hairstyle you have here? It looks amazing and could also be helpful for cosplays. :)

What if you're posing with your friend and your characters aren't from the same series? Just want to know because I'm going to a convention with me friend soon and she's cosplaying Senbonzakura Miku while I'm going as Nozomi Tojo from Love Live! School Idol Project(uniform) and we happen to be going to the con together. We both have individual poses planned out but I just want to know in case somebody possibly wants a pic of us together for some reason

This is really great and I really enjoyed it. My friend and I are going to comic con as batgirl and supergirl and we were hoping for some cool crime fighting buddies poses. Do you have any suggestions? We will probably not being doing a big photo shoot. We just need simple poses for if people ask to take our picture.

how do you pose with a char that is kind/cute but something like at times shes badass i get confuse on this personalities and some people just make it look like that char is more on cute and didnt show the badass part

Thank you very much for this, was having trouble thinking of poses for me and my friend's characters that have a sort of "conflicted" and for a while a "one sided love" relationship, with slight obsession from the character that is in love (which will be me). Also, thank you for the "no laugh" tip, been having trouble with this as well. Can't have a demon lord laughing in his future forced wife's face right? As for suggestions, I'd like to know how to properly tell your photographer what to do if they aren't a professional and you are looking for a certain type of picture. I often keep wishing I could take my own pictures, but I'm sure with better advise it could work out.

What about posing with a plush or stuffed animal of sorts? I noticed for props you did more with weapons. I cosplay characters like Jeri from Digimon Season 3 (Digimon Tamers) who has a puppet, an obsession with cream puffs, associated a lot with Callumon, and has her own Leomon digimon. I also have Mimi Tachikawa from Digimon season 1 with a couple small plushies. So these were things that I thought of watching this. How do you handle other props that aren't weaponry?
