Cosrx is selling it in combo with their active ingredient serums like Retinol 0.5, which makes me think it's formulated to be used with them!!

I heard from a chemist and a derm that the only thing that really effects the CP is a heavy exfoliating product like a glycolic and usually it's a a in office strength so we don't really have to worry about it I don't think . They said if your skin can handle layering it's fine it's mostly said for the people with sensitive skin so they don't layer all these ingredients and get a reaction to them . This looks super interesting sounds kinda like a 2 essence step and the bottle is so big makes me think it's not a serum step because they wouldn't be selling alot of it with as much as they give u it would last forever well either way even as an essence step with the texture it looks like it will last forever. I didn't even know this came out. Did u see Summer Fridays release a thicker moisturizer but I looked at the ingredients and it looks really basic for the price 🤨😟 It's huge compared to a PC skin booster lol

I have a feeling that is correct about Copper Peptides - although nothing wrong with people playing it on the "safe side" because it can be expensive, but I've found layering an intermediate product between it and strong acids or antioxidants has worked well and much better than going without using Copper Peptides at all. I'm curious about the new one from Summer Fridays, I ordered it but I agree- the ingredient list doesnt' look nearly as exciting as their other moisturizer does. We'll see!

I’m so happy you got this, I really hope it becomes a staple in the routine. Btw I have used copper peptides with either retinol or retinal in the past and my skin was glowing the following morning.
@angelinebiswas7611
@angelinebiswas7611 11 месяцев назад
With copper peptides many companies have found a way around this by encapsulating them. So not necessarily the case anymore as innovations have moved this ingredient to be a much easier one to use in tandem with others

I was looking to add a hydrating step to my simple routine, but the soybean oil is making me hesitate, same with the vit E, my skin has not liked those in the past 😢 and idk if the copper peptides will mix well with my actives, tranexamic (am), azelaic (pm) , but all the other ingredients sound great

When I saw it on yesstyle I was very intrigued by that product, because I like the Cosrx eye cream, but I use it as a serum all over my face, it seems a little liquid for the eyes and since it does not have occlusive ingredients it is perfect for the face , I thought that boosting would be like that eye cream. Be very well Sarah and always hugs from Chile 😘

I have the travel size of Paula's Choice peptide collagen booster. It's a good serum, I enjoy using it...but the tiny travel size is 20$, meh...for a good product I guess that's expected but I wish it was slightly more product for that price

@monicaduncan7109 Год назад
On the bottle it says serum, and directions say to apply after cleansing and then follow on with your actives, however it is 150ml so I suppose you would treat it like a essence or toner. Not sure of the consistency yet but at a great price at £19.77 GBP it could be one to look out for in the future

It's definitely a light texture, you are right, I think it works more like an essence and fits into that step in my routine best that way. So far I really love it. I think it gave my skin a bit of extra glow even.

Why do all new products seem to have citric acid?! I’ve tried so many products to see if I can handle at any level, but nope. My overly sensitive skin isn’t having it. Seems like citric acid is the new hyaluronic acid (which my skin also hates) - as in, it’s in everything!
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty Год назад
Citric acid in large amounts can function as an exfoliant, but when you see it in small amounts (like in this product) it's typically used to regulate the pH so it's not too high or prevent it from irritating skin. Have you tried any products that aren't exfoliants with it in them?
@Swisheridontevenknower
@Swisheridontevenknower Год назад
@@NOBSBeauty yes, I always try products with low citric acid. But without fail, my skin starts burning. I happen to have the most reactive skin ever so very few products work for me unfortunately.

It depends on the type of vitamin c. If it's an ascorbic acid vitamin c then I'd probably not recommend using them together. If it's a vitamin c derivative then it will probably be just fine.

@Quartza_ 11 месяцев назад
@@BiscuitsMom917but according to a lot of derms. Any honey or ingredients related to bees are the common irritants because I literally got an allergic reaction when i first tried the propolis toner until a derm told me that i may allergic to propolis extract or royal jelly. After i stopped using it, my skin slowly recovered.
@Storm411z
@Storm411z 6 месяцев назад
I second the propolis toner recommendation - oily/combo skin with occasional dehydration and sebaceous filaments/blackheads and PIH 😊 I also enjoy their Poreless Pads as they have a great ingredients list and don’t dry out my skin, making them a great daily maintenance option (like if I use them in place of a toner or use them to wipe down my face if I don’t want to wash my face in the morning) Oh! Also their snail mucin is a classic. Affordable and snail mucin can really help with would healing/vascularization. Like those small blood vessels around the nose. Their snail mucin helped heal the chronic dry skin underneath my eyes that resulted from recurrent petechiae (burst capillaries from acute rise in pressure in the face) I got from crying during a particularly difficult time. I tried Vaseline, all the ceramide creams, but it was adding the snail mucin that healed it up in a matter of weeks when I’d been fighting it for 3+ months!
