+Pico Pianist these are pretty rough numbers. If you work close to the house, has expended could be $60-100/month. And again, insurance will be lower with the experience. Our numbers: finance-393, insurance - 247, gas - $400-500(and we live very far, driving every day around 150-180km) and having weekend or one days trips around ;)

I drive a mazda 3 , $420 (finance) +$385 (insurance)+ $150 (gas) +50 (yearly maintenance,oil change ÷12 months) = $1,000 .I live in North York and work 30 min -1 hr away 5 days /week . I drive a lot on the weekends as well. gas is approx 120 during summer cause I have my windows down instead of using AC but approx 150 during winter cause it's freezing and HEATER is a must. hope that helps
