In this video, we are sharing the Cost of living for a couple in Montreal in 2020. Do watch the video till the end and don't forget to like, share and subscribe..!!

Monthly expenses that may occur:
1. Rent: $700 - $1400
2. Car (Lease/Buy): $300 -$400
3. Car Insurance: $100 - $150
4. Fuel: $200
5. Parking: $60 - $150
6. Groceries: $300 - $400
7. Metro/Bus pass: $86
8. Mobile: $100
9. Home Internet: $70 - $100
10. Electricity: $50 (Summers), $100 (Winters)
11. Water: $50
12. Home Insurance: $50
13. Eat out: $200
14. Shopping/Gym/Recreation activities: $300 - $500

Varies from city to city. But on average about $1000 per month for rent and $300 for food will be required. Also, are you staying by yourself ?

The only important thing to remember is that it's the CHEAPEST Province in the country AND the one with the best social and public services. Especially for families. The extra 10K a year you might get in Toronto melts away in 2 months when you compare the cost of living and tax refunds and credits that make the higher taxes, ONLY a problem for the top earners. Also, it's NOT 1984 anymore. With American Cable, the internet, and social media, EVERYBODY can at least help you out in English. And in cities with tourism, like Quebec city And Montreal, you can live a happy life without French. They BOTH have English school systems, up to college in Quebec and two very well recognized universities in Montreal, plus Bishop near Sherbrooke.

This fare card is not valid at STM entry points in Longueuil, Brossard or Laval although you may exit at these locations when leaving from Montréal. Sherbrooke and Granby are not in greater Montreal area. You cannot use STM from there

Supriya chiranvitha with minimum wages income in canada you can survive.. but if you get around 45k per year for a single individual you should be able to have a decent lifestyle in montreal.. in toronto and Vancouver you would need a little more income as the cost of living is more expensive in these cities

You need to think of your expenses as well even though you would earn your money.. also your salary depends on the type of job you take up and the hours you are permitted to work..
