Costa Rica is one of our most favorite countries for bird photography. Hotel Bougainvillea is the birdiest hotel to stay when arriving and leaving San Jose. Thank you for sharing.
This is great! Brought back memories of six trips to CR in 2.5 years. Savegre, Batsu and Felipe are all great! I also use Costa Rica Gateway for transportation as well, Juan Carlos is a friend.
I received an e-mail with a comment from The Cornells, but I can't find their comment here, so I'll paste it here and hope they see this: "Many thanks for this great video. Watching from the UK. Do you know if you able to use Gateway Transportation to take you from the airport to a lodge, rather than normal taxis? " Yes, Costa Rica Gateway will arrange to have someone pick you up at the airport and take you to your lodge; I always used them for my transportation needs!
Hello there, I will be in a cruise ship and would like to see birds and photograph them, can you recommend a place for bird photography nearby the pier?
Hi, Peter; I'm so sorry I didn't see this until now, but it's moot anyway, as I wouldn't have been able to answer your question! :-( Did you find any good birding spots?
@@garydietz8807 Thanks! No, I went on my own and just e-mailed the lodges to make arrangements (some you can book on line). I used Costa Rica Gateway to arrange transportation.
Using playback to agitate other birds is a disgraceful practice which cannot be defended. It's selfish (you want to see the birds more than care for them); unprofessional; and the sign of an inadequate birder. I know it is widespread but we need to stamp out this menace from true birding.
