Agree I’d like to see how you work with kids appetites cravings as little kids can get very tricky. Be nice to see you just feeding them throughout the day for comparison as my kids days are so varied and different. One day they’ll smash the bananas and fruits, another day they want crumbed chicken sausage and French toasts. Today we are in sweets mood so that’s interesting …

That ending was so beautiful. Thank you for that encouragement. I am married 7 years, we long for children but that hasn't been the Lords will for us. The longer I am a wife and homemaker the more I love it and desire to learn how to do it better.

3:08 Just a side note, if you are gunna make raw poke bowls make sure the salmon is sushi grade. Cooked salmon though sounds nice. And I don't get how they are too old for the apple sauce snack unless it is specifically for a certain age range. I am 20 and if I saw a nice packet of those I would probably eat it.

The part about homemakers ❤❤ sometimes, I feel crazy when I’m annoyed that my husband doesn’t do all the little things that I do to keep up which our baby when he takes over some tasks. Thank you for your kind words at the end, Sarah, I really needed to hear them. As a wife to my dream of a husband, we're currently living with our aging parents, and my brother and sister-in-law in one house. It's been challenging to figure out everyone's "roles" when it comes to being homemakers, and not everyone has the energy or the time to try to do everything (plus, my dear mother, bless her heart, has a hard time letting go of that role of taking care of us and giving the reigns to my sister-in-law and me). But we're working through it, and we're all learning how we can help each other not only as homemakers, but as family members as well in the unique living situation we all find ourselves in at this time. Great content as always, Sarah! Thank you for everything you do for your family and for your viewers, your videos are such a blessing in my life, and I know you are such a blessing to your family! God bless you in all your endeavors! 🙏💖

My husband, baby, and I bought a house with my parents and sister and I have also found that my mom has a hard time sometimes letting go of certain roles like she still buys us stuff at the grocery store when we also shop for ourselves and she sometimes is surprised when I clean main living spaces. I love that my daughter gets to grow up in a house full of love though, so it's an adjustment that is worth it in the end :)

If I had my own washer and dryer than I would not use paper towels. I would use “kitchen rags” but I have to do my laundry in a shared washer and dryer on the premises of our triplex. So I have to use a coin operated washer and dryer. It’s cheaper to get the giant thing of paper towels at Costco. One day I’ll have my own. And I can be as green as I wanna be.

I love your channel but I do disagree on sugar. Cancer and inflammation thrive off sugar and nowadays there are so many sugar alternatives that are safe and still sweet (erythritol, allulose, xylitol, monk fruit, swerve products). Even honey and organic maple syrup are high glycemic. I’d love to see more sugar alternative recipes but for now I just wing it by replacing your sugar ingredients with one of the above I mentioned. Love you Sarah! Keep up the great work.
@PumpkinEmBear
@PumpkinEmBear Год назад
Allulose is banned/not approved for sale in Australia, NZ and Europe so I'd be careful what you think about that one 😅
@VeronicaMarce
@VeronicaMarce Год назад
@PumpkinEmBear I've never personally used that one as an ingredient. I just know it's another sugar alternative. Regardless, stevia, erythritol, xylitol and monk fruit I know for sure have been widely studied and considered safe sugar alternatives.
@VeronicaMarce
@VeronicaMarce Год назад
@@PumpkinEmBear do you know why allulose is a banned product?
@PumpkinEmBear
@PumpkinEmBear Год назад
@@VeronicaMarce It is "believed" to be a carcinogenic. Not studied enough by our food standards (Aus) because it is too new to the market in it's processed form as its only found naturally in a few foods. We have pretty high food standards here especially when it comes to artificial additives, colours and sweetners and because it's current being manufactured/converted/refined from fructose and not in it's natural form it is seen as artificial (even though fructose is natural).
@VeronicaMarce
@VeronicaMarce Год назад
@PumpkinEmBear interesting. I know that the US isn't as strict but I follow a Dr who covered it (Dr. Eric Berg) and he wasn't against it. But like I mentioned I have never used it in my cooking/baking. I mainly use erythritol.

I saw both you and Kieran in the kitchen at some points with no kids around while you're getting a ton done. Is there someone else taking care of the kids/guiding homeschooling/simply playing? I only have one child and getting all that stuff done only while she's napping isn't possible. And if she's awake, she wants my attention or to be a part of the process, which would obviously make it harder! Anyway was just wondering if you could be more transparent about your childcare! Thank you!

Pre-packaged food is not my bag - pardon the pun! I have fresh broccoli and lasts ages and nothing in packets much. Some organic but not obsessive. Goat's cheese yes. Don't eat popcorn or chips and use olive oil. I don't like the idea of plastic next to my food and as the plastic breaks down is that good? It is all a bit too premeditated for me and I fed a family and did not drive and we always ate. Organised but life should be fun. Random is fun not wild.

I am soooo glad I now know that I'm not the only person on this earth who cleans up their chicken breast. 😅 some will just throw all of it into a dish and it grosses me out. Meat in general grosses me out, but gross parts being cooked in a dish is a whole new level for me. 🤣 I have also started buying big chunks of roasts to split up into 2's or 3's and it saves us so much money and way less food waste.

Please don’t feel guilty having someeeee paper towel on hand! Ok, I try to use actual towels- but sometimes you want something you can toss for things you don’t want to throw in the washer. How about draining bacon? How about wiping up stray poop? (If you have children stray poop happens eventually!) someone dropped a glass and it shattered? Paper towel helps get the shards up! Otherwise, try using washable towels for sure!
