Costco Michelin Wiper Blade Installation 

Thank you so much, for years I wanted to buy costco wipers but never had confidence of being able to change them I would spend about $30-40 dollars each time, NOW I am able to change them myself- THANK YOU!! I did it!!!

Thanks George for thoroughly explaining. I went online to make sure the placement of the longer blade was correct. Also nice fail safe on protecting the windshield. You could easily taking the blade off initially and go to open the new wiper package and hit the wiper arm by accident. I have done this once, luckily the windshield didn't break, but the omg reaction as it hit the windshield was enough for me to last a lifetime. Well done George!

I was struggling for 2 days. Meantime, I went through couple videos, as long as 6 minutes. None worked for me, instead got more confused. This 2 minutes long video is showing the easiest and simplest way to install Michelin wipers. It did a trick. I’m not kidding. I installed both wipers in 3 minutes. Thank you very much for posting this video and helping people like me.

Thanks George for a simple great video. The extra covers drove me crazy and I almost returned the wipers to Costco as I thought something was defective. I can now happily toss the empty packages that have been in the trunk for over a week. 😋

George, thank you so much for this very thoughtfully informative video! I watched it before changing my Prius windshield wipers last month and it was easy. I placed a towel on my windshield as you so suggested and thought better to be safe than sorry it was all good. I changed my mom's Prius wipers today and no issues and I had placed the packaging on the windshield instead of a towel and no issues. Then I came home and changed out my wife's Lexus wipers and the driver's side was a cinch and then it was onto the passenger's side. Pulled the wiper up and dislodged the wiper and don't know what happened, the wiper spring snapped back, but it was all because of your warning to place a towel on the windshield! I had the packaging there instead because I didn't have a towel handy and WHAM! The wiper arm struck the packaging and NOT the windshield. You just saved me at least $300 and an earful from my wife. LOL. Thank you so much. God Bless!

Biggest storm ⛈️ coming in 20 years. Went to Costco and bought wiper blades. Spent 2 hours in the rain ☔️ and watched other RU-vid videos. Yours was the best! Thank you 🙏

Thank you! I spent 10 or 15 minutes trying to figure out what the extra pieces were and trying the Costco/Michelin pages for instructions! Then, I got smart, relatively ;-) and watched your video. It just took seconds after that!

Could not get it off so I searched specifically for a video with Michelin blades and this is the only one with the style I have and I even was doing what you were doing but it's-20 here rn and seeing you have to struggle to get it out made me realise I wasn't pulling hard enough scuffed up my fingers but got it off! Oh my gosh, thank you! I struggled for a while before I found your video. After watching it, it was a breeze to change out my wipers. And I was happy to have the tip so I didn't break my windshield. :)

I placed a yoga mat under the j hook wiper arm, came down hard on a soft yoga mat ...thank you sir you saved me 100's of dollars in an unnecessary repair.

Thanks this worked (I might add if no one else has), once you unpack all of the contents out of packaging, pop off the Michelin plastic cap that's on the actual blade (not shown in this video). It interferes with the installation (don't worry it snaps back on). The blade assembly will then closely resemble what George shows in this video. When the blade is in place with the wiper arm, then you can snap back the Michelin black plastic cover that was originally attached to the blade. This cap only goes on one way. [Note the two small black nubs that fit into the two holes on the Michelin plastic cap precisely]. The cap can now swivel back and forth. Now simply push on the cap until it snaps (Clicks) in place.

it's 2021; wiper blades have a different design now. Video helped for removal; not so much for install due to redesign. Thanks.

Nothing terrifies me more in life than having to change wiper blades. lol. It causes me much anxiety and fear.
