Megan is how I found you!! Enjoy watching you both. Makes me feel so much better about my life, that is falling apart!! Much appreciation to you both!!
I nearly typed out the exact same comment. So cool to see Bundaberg getting an international appreciation. Especially love all the Bundaberg flavours at Christmas!!! And seeing the Anh DO book on the boys bed last video too! Aussie invasion it seems!
I don't know what it's like at your house, but I had to use a silver sharpie and label all the snow gear with our last name. Each glove, boot, hat, coat, etc. I can't tell you how many times some other kid accidentally took home one of my kids' snow items. They all pretty much look the same.
No Christmas tree. We don't have one. Maybe next year. Hubs had knee replacement in Sept. I'm having a one Monday and the other when that heals. Tree and ornaments aren't in the budget right now. I'll enjoy my sister's tree.
I love Planting Birches (Megans) channel! So excited to hear you guys collaborating. She just uploaded her grocery haul so I look forward to seeing the price differences!
The Bundaberg ginger beer is made in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia . I am from Australia and when I was in Queensland, I went to Bundaberg and I went to the factory where they make the ginger beer
I love watching you shop at Costco...showing us items (new & old) & prices...BUT I certainly do miss my wonderful little guy Everett...the KING OF COSTCO SHOPPERS!!!
My husband went shopping today and the prices are also going up in the middle of Michigan. Onions $1.29 a pound, butter $24.36 for 4 pounds and cod $9.99 a pound.
I missed this video. I watch planting Birches too. Megan only lives about a hour and half away from where I live. This is so cool. I shop both Sam club and Costco.
Hi Lauren! Just watched Meghan and her Dad do her grocery haul. Wow and we thought our prices were crazy. I have watched Meghan for quite awhile. Just love her and her family. Recently found you and am very glad I did. Both of you do excellent grocery hauls! Love that you both take us along and talk to us in the store. Both of you have just the greatest families. Bye for now!
Hi Lauren I’m watching from Christchurch New Zealand it is Sunday morning I love watching you do your groceries. Food is very expensive in New Zealand.
My granddaughter who is six customized her own American Doll and it was 234.00 $. Lol. So that price was a good deal to me. She loves it and it looks like her so it was worth it to this old Memaw.
I have enjoyed Megan from Planting Burches and I decided to check you out and I live in Texas actually a desert so almost the opposite of Alaska probably. It is getting cooler here so it's probably really cold there. Thanks for you're channel and have a blessed day!
Hello and welcome Heather! I grew up in Texas! Moving to Alaska when I was 14 in November was a shock to the system. I’m used to it now, thankfully! Thank you so much for stopping by!
You're welcome, I have two boys a 7 year old and 13 almost 14 year old too. I really enjoyed you're channel and I will have to keep up with you thanks and have a blessed day!
Also I was raised up in Colorado mountains so I am so used to snow and cold in the winter so living here has been very different from high altitude to lower altitude, but some vegetables can actually be growing for almost all year round except for May through August since it is majorly hot, but it's okay. I also was raised up on Elk meat my dad got a bull every year with a bow so I totally understand about hunting and fishing and camping. Thanks and have a blessed day and weekend!
Hi from Australia! those Bundaberg ginger beers are delicious and made in queensland. We always have them for your xmas because its so hot here on christmas day
Great to see our great Aussie Bundy Ginger Beer all the way in Alaska. Good on Costco. I wish Costco would bring that fantastic pancake mix back. I can’t believe that it’s -20 and you are out shopping in it.
Great haul! I am new to your channel as of today. I found out about you through Meghan on Planting Birches. Your boys are so cute! I live in Southern California. It never snows here. I shop at Costco as well.
Hi Lauren! I have been following you and Meghan for quite some time and I love both your channels, you always post some cool videos! Massive hugs from over the pond (Italy), Deb
G’Day Lauren, if you see the Spice Ginger Beer by Bundaberg for the Holiday Season highly recommend trying it. Bundaberg only release it for the holidays. It’s delicious and I can’t get enough of it.
Put the tree up day after Thanksgiving, but it usually goes up a week or two before. Our Pastors family decorates at the end of October! Loved your Hawaii video.
I have a lot of Pyrex casserole 🥘 dishes and also a air fryer but I use my casserole 🥘 dishes for my stews and casseroles! I love ❤️ watching your shopping 🛒 hauls from the uk 🇬🇧
My tree is up, but my two cats have decided that half of the ornaments belong on the floor. I was hoping they outgrew trying to climb it (they're two now), but no such luck hahaha
Hello from West Central Illinois, I have put up my tree but with a two year old it's hard to finish decorating it. I would love to visit Alaska. Maybe one day we can get there. Hope you and your family has a Happy and safe holiday season.
Yay, I'm so glad you have connected with Meghan. I just love her and her family 💕 Can't wait to watch both your video and Meghan's. Living in Norway, we don't have these big box stores. It's so much fun watching y'all shop.
Yes all decorated for Christmas my best friend Sandy did it for me as I cannot how wonderful it is to have a friend that can do things for you and loves to decorate. It is absolutely beautiful. I do miss Everett on your Ventures to Costco but I bet you it is getting in and out a lot quicker. Also loved your Hawaiian vacation videos take care God bless
Salad kits are great all around in general as everything you need is included. You don’t have to go get a bunch of separate different items like salad dressing that might not get used up. Than just add some protein and make a meal out of the salad kit!!!
You asked if our trees were up. Answer- Yes. Even though we just got word that we are moving January 3rd. My husband wants the tree up, with all the decorations. My answer- tree only with its built in lights. No further decorations. Cause we're moving. xD
@@ThisAlaskaLife Oh thank you very much! And oddly enough, it started snowing in Portland, OR today. We don't normally see the snow flakes until feb-march. So this is early, and odd. Hopefully it goes away sooner rather than later.
We used to use Charmin but switched to the Kirkland toilet paper and since we did that 2 years ago we stopped having issues with the septic system(toilet paper backing up the tubes) 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Hi Lauren.....I really do enjoy your trips to Cosco......WE do not have one here \ Sam's (walmart) and BJ's are our discount stores. Of course, we have Shaws, Hannaford, and Walmart for regular grocery stores. Your prices are high, but ours are continuing to go higher and higher. Those of us on fixed income, boy, its hitting hard, not to mention heating fuel. Get that Christmas tree up, my friend.......its time!!! Hugs, Bev in Maine
Thanks for another Costco haul. As you show them, I call out to Alexa and add things I'd like to look for at our Costo in Chesapeake, VA. LOL! Wow, that halibut would sit on the shelf at that price. Our tree is not up yet because we are transitioning households. My adult niece is moving out this week but next week it all comes out!
Hi Lauren..I wish we had a Costco here..we have Sam's. I live in West Virginia. I usually shop at Walmart or Kroger. Congratulations to Everett for losing his tooth. Does the tooth fairy visit? My grandson lost one yesterday and tooth fairy gave him 5 bucks! He was pleased. Take care Love you guys
Enjoy paling around with you in Costco..would love some of those xtratuff boots..I have a knock off version from Walmart. See ya in the next one..going to check the other vlogger.
Hi ya. We live in a remote area in northern BC and our Costco is in Prince George about two hours away. You prices are similar to ours. Some of ours is more expensive, lie, choc chips are about 15.00. I only go to town every two months but getting my list ready for our next trip before Christmas on the 12th. Great video, thanks 💕🇨🇦
I just watch Megan at planting Birches and she told to watch your channel which i already do because I loved watching Everett. I also was anxious to see the difference in the prices. .
