People who are barely getting by financially and have a need to "prosper" will indulge their last penny at the church because they have nothing but hope. Actually, they all have the hope of prospering! That's just like me when I gamble. The more money I gamble the more I win! The only problem is that too many other people are winning the money I just gambled. But I am going to win the big one soon! I have got to win; I have no other choice.
The gospel of prosperity is Not The True Gospel of Christ! People need to SERIOUSLY STOP treating Christ as a lottery ticket! If u come 2 Jesus for 💰 than He's not your god , 💰 is!
Thank you for this! My wife and I were rescued out of the WOF/prosperity gospel over two years ago. We now attend a faithful reformed church and will see our youngest two children baptized in June. God has been so gracious to us! Thank you for exposing this stuff….we are evidence that it bears much fruit!
Please pray for me and my children. I want to give up! But I will continue to trust God! Having faith even in my time of despair. I lost my job because I refused the vaccine. I refused due to my already failing health. Heart disease and lupus. I’m on a ton of medications already. Including blood thinners. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my two autistic children both are non verbal. I’m so overwhelmed because they are special needs. My husband passed away three years ago so I’m all alone. My situation already has me down, and depressed. I have been called horrible names and mocked because of my circumstances. This month me and my boys are facing homelessness if I can’t come up with the rest of the rent. Every month is a struggle. But I have so much faith that God will provide for me and my children in Jesus name. FAITH OVER FEAR! God hears our prayers so please pray for me.

Dear Person; please listen to a person that went through what you are having: and I learned that NO other person's prayer; can even come close to our prayers. For Jesus WANTS OUR prayers; much more than any other prayers for us. Even if it was a billion other prayers for us. And OURS stands a colossal chance better; that He will hear ours and help us.; than any other prayers for us. Believe it or not. Oh indeed. (Note: IF the other prayers; are from someone you did not ask to pray for you; Jesus will hear that. And help you...So never ask...) Also, EVERY "tear, sorrow, pain and even death"; IS our fault (believe it or not) from birth to death. Oh yes. For Jesus punishes us for EVERY sin; 7 times over. And 70 fold if it is flaunted. But He also blesses us for every good deed we do; UNTOLD. AMEN! Thus, every human that will ever have lived; are somewhere between totally being punished; all the way to a joyful, peaceful life, unfathomable. Oh yes. I am proof of that. Praise Him. So your problems are caused BY you (I'm sorry to say). As it is for me; and every person on this planet. So IF you sincerely confess (means "repentance") that YOU are the sinner; that caused your problems; and beg Jesus to forgive you for YOUR sins; and guide you, direct you and lead you to righteousness; your life will become better and better. Like you could never have imagined. And: IF you will do this sincerely; and pray often to Jesus ONLY; you will kick your self for not doing it years ago. Promise. @ Mousey Miller everything that I'm about to say to you, I'm not preaching to you, but I say these things to encourage you. Also, I am a layman, not a pastor, and have no theological training whatsoever. I say this because, in the end, you should seek help and counsel from your church and pastor. If you don't have a church, I encourage you to find one. I love my church fam and would've been lost a long time ago without them :) Pain and suffering are things that we Chrisitan Americans are not used to, and when they happen, I find that we tend to believe one of two things. 1. That God no longer loves us, or 2. We have done something wrong and we are being punished. Let's break these down starting with the first. 1. The statement that "God no longer loves me when I am sick or struggling" is a lie. That is proven in Romans 5 verses 6-11 "6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person-though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die- 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation." (ESV) God loves you! He loves you so much that His Son, Jesus Christ, literally died to save you, and save you, and all of us, while we were still sinful and broken! That's amazing! 2. There is a book in the Bible, in the Old Testament, titled the book of Job. It is about a righteous man, a man after God's own heart, who is afflicted with the loss of his family, possessions, and health. Why did these things happen? Did he sin? Short answer: He did not sin: Long answer: one day Satan came to God, and God asked Satan, "Have you seen my servant Job? He is a man after my own heart, a man who loves me and is obedient to me." Satan replies, "Well of course he is! He is blessed by you! Why, if you took everything he had from him, he would surely curse you." God then ALLOWS Satan to do just that to prove that Job does love Him, God, and will remain faithful. Job isn't told any of this. One day, he wakes up, and everything he loved and cared about is taken away from him in an instant. And he doesn't curse God. In fact, he leans into God. The book talks about this in-depth and is extremely encouraging, especially for me when I was going through Lymes' Disease, and we at one point thought I had cancer. At the end of the book, Job never sins, and never curses God, and God restores to him tenfold what he had before. I'm not saying that God will restore you more than you had before. What I am saying is that sometimes we face hardship and difficulty in this life, and it has nothing to deal with what we directly or indirectly did. We live in a fallen world, broken by sin. Sickness is the result of the fall of man when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. I highly recommend reading Job :) I'm praying for you and your family sister! Don't give up! Believe me, I wanted to as well when I was going through my Lyme's Disease really bad, but just when I thought I was done, Christ gave me the strength to carry on!
Decree and declare seems to have replaced name it and claim it. Even though decreeing is in the Bible it doesn't focus on it and its not taught by the apostles as being a priority by any means

The prosperity gospel is rooted in pride and greed! Thank the Lord, He opened my eyes and saved me out of the "pray this prayer and you're saved!" And, He opened my eyes to the false prosperity gospel. Thank you, Lord!

Ironic that he said "this is how cults start, an angel comes and tells them something no one can verify", when that's EXACTLY how christianity started. An angel appeared to someone, and told them they have to preach to others, and people just blindly accept it. It's ALL one large, world-wide cult. Jesus Christ is how Christianity got started. Jesus was born 2,000 years ago. His life and words are recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the Bible. Please read the gospel of John. In John 6:38, Jesus said, "I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me...For it is My Father's will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life." And John 3:16, Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." Jesus lived a perfect life, He came to seek and save the lost and give His life as a ransom for us. He performed miracles to authenticate His deity and His message, then He died on the cross for our sins. On the third day He rose, defeating death and hell and paid the sin debt of humanity. That is the good news of the gospel! We receive God's gift of salvation by believing Jesus died on the cross for us to give us eternal life, confessing our sin and receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord of our life. Jesus' life and resurrection were witnessed and verified by hundreds of people in His day. And to this day, centuries later, Jesus is still saving those who believe in Him, me included. I can testify that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior who has come into the world. He has rescued me from sin and given me power to live the life He has purposed for me. It's a joy walking with Jesus each day and living in His perfect love and peace, no matter what trials and hardships come. His Holy Spirit guides me and helps me live each day for His glory. Same heresy, different flavor - The Poverty Gospel God wants you to be sick and poor. If you are healthy or wealthy, it is because you do not have enough faith and/or are in disobedience to God. God wants you to be sick so that you will learn to obey His Word. "Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word...It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees...I know, LORD, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me" (Psalm 119:67-75). God wants you to be sick because it demonstrates His power. "Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh...Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me" (2 Corinthians 12:7-9). God wants you to give away everything you have, so clearly that means He wants you to be poor. "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me" (Matthew 19:21). God wants you to be poor so that you will take your eyes off the things of this world. "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:19-21). God wants you to be poor. He demonstrates this by how often the Bible speaks against the evils of money and wealth. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs" (1 Timothy 6:10). "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money (Matthew 6:24). "But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?" (James 2:6-7). God wants you to be sick so that you can rely on His strength and learn to obey His Word. God wants you to be poor so that you can learn to trust Him and take your eyes off the things of this world. If you are not sick and poor, it is because you lack the faith to trust God, are not obeying Jesus' command to give everything away, and are holding on to the things of this world instead of longing for your eternal home in Heaven.
If you have any honesty or integrity in your heart I ask you humbly to grapple with my reply to Mr. Costi Hinn. I’d like to preface and say I have absolutely nothing against him in fact I am vehemently for him because he affirms Jesus which means I not only stand with him, but fight with him and love him as nothing less than my own brother. His sincerity I believe comes from a genuine place, but he is undoubtedly and sincerely wrong. I will prove this unequivocally shortly. Again, if you have any honesty in you- genuinely grapple with this reply. With how he defined the “prosperity gospel,” sure we agree on some things. The problem is that his definition has nothing to do with 1) what actual prosperity is and 2) what “Benny Hinn types” preach. Thirdly, there were way too many mischaracterizations of what we “Benny Hinn types” believe to go through each one. Further, the revelation of the cross is that we were lost and alienated from God but that through the blood of Jesus we were made sons again and therefore made heirs. That is the good news of prosperity! We were poor (without Jesus) and through what He did He made us rich as heirs of His kingdom! I’ve never heard one “Benny Hinn type” minister ever insinuate by giving you’re somehow magically making money come to you. Rather, the idea is that of planting a seed where when it’s given time and patience and effort in faith progressing toward the end goal- that seed will produce a harvest. That is a radically different perspective from what Mr. Costi Hinn is espousing. And of course we all agree swindling money from people on this front is evil, that everyone concedes. Further, we don’t say God is a genie who can make you rich. What we say is that it’s God’s will for you to love Him first and foremost above everything. Only after that does God desire you to have an overflow in all areas of life (including material wealth) with the purpose of advancing His kingdom and being a blessing to as many as possible in the earth. Very different from what I heard said here. The scriptures I post below will prove without any doubt that this is in fact God’s will for all people provided their God given assignment doesn’t call for something different. Kindly I would like to exit the realm of briefly summarizing and mischaracterizing positions and look at precisely what the Bible says, which is what “we” believe. Regarding Wealth: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 Great wealth is in the house of the righteous, But trouble is in the income of the wicked. Proverbs 15:6 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38 If they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures. Job 36:11 There was a famine in the land… Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him. Genesis 26:1, 12-14 For the Lord your God will bless you just as he promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you. Deuteronomy 15:6 The Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice. Deuteronomy 16:15 Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it. Psalm 112:3 The blessing of the Lord maketh rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham… that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the gentiles… And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3: 9,14,29 The promise → And all the peoples of the earth will be blessed in you. Genesis 12:3 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. I’ve heard preachers come up and say seed £1000 and within 24 hours the miracle will happen etc… at their events people come up with these testimonies of seeding and immediately healing happens etc… I don’t know what seed is planted and within 24 hours already comes up with fruits in the agricultural world.
@@MsVarie That's manipulation to get money. It's a form of witchcraft which God isn't with. He doesn't heal you or deliver you because of your seed so saying this to get money is a form of manipulation even if you're just using it for your ministry. What you should do is simply say you're struggling and ask for help. There are cases where legitimate prophets will give specific prophetic instruction, but it will bear results just as they say. These men do exist. For those that don't bear results like this (which is most) this is a form of manipulation and Benny Hinn has come out and said He agrees that this is wrong. He has further said he doesn't do it anymore and that when he did do it in the past he was genuine (as in only doing it because he was trying to help people) but wrong. Because of Benny Hinn millions around the world have been delivered, saved, and come to know Jesus more. There's no way this man is not doing the work of God.
I think ppl relying too much on Benny Hinn for healing. It’s not Benny Hinn heals the sick but God himself touches the sick when we seek for him. So anyone can be get healed anytime anywhere. As we have our timing to do things also God has his timing for healing. So I mean, the wheel chair lady didn’t get healing in Benny Hinn’s ministry, so what? that’s okay, she doesn’t have to get to “Benny Hinn’s ministry” to get healed. She can also seek god in her room by herself or anywhere else to get healed with God’s timing:)
