This sin has been something I’ve struggled with since I was 13. At 30 and married, it’s still a sin I wrestle with daily. The world is heavily pornographic and as Christians, we are being bombarded by it from all sides. Only praying and reading the Word is the way to be delivered from it. Praying for all those suffering from this disease, please keep me in your prayers too

To everyone who is struggling with this, 1.the first thing you need to do is get out of the "trapped mindset". You need to believe that Jesus has overcome the world like he said and therefore no sin can bind you down. 2The next thing you need to do is stay away from your phone more often. Put it down and find something else to do that isn't electronically capable. 3. When you do use your phone only use it for Godly intent. Myself personally, I've gotten rid of all social media, there's just way too much temptation and it isn't as if we need to have social media apps on our phone to live, we don't. Just start texting people. It has helped me exceedingly. And when you do use your phone, use it for Godly intent. I mostly listen to worship music or Christian podcasts or preachings on RU-vid. You seriously have to understand that lust is everywhere in this world and takes so many forms. 4. Flee from lust. If your in your room and feeling tempted. Leave your phone in the room and LEAVE. Go outside and take a walk, or go talk with your family members or go to the park. Don't touch your phone. 5. Most importantly, PRAY AND READ YOUR BIBLE. Cry out to God daily and grow closer to him, and talk to him. It will change everything. And the desires of your heart will be reshaped.

Funny enough what worked for me is not only praying and reading the word everyday, but I also decided to fast for 2 weeks for God. So my fast included no porn/masterbation, video games, junk food, social media and caffeine. The result was, my lust for porn got heavily reduce and I also prayed to god to help me during my fast and it’s been working so well. I’m a young guy in his early 20s. Hope this helps (:

Addiction is real, obviously. But it's also important to remember that we always have a choice. It's YOU who has to type in the keys, it's YOU who decides what you watch. Don't let the word ADDICTION scare you into thinking it's hopeless.

Almost 20 years ago, my ex-wife’s daughter first had sex when she was 13-14 years old. By the time of her 16th birthday, she had already been with 7 different people. All but 1 of them were 18-19 years old. She also had a lesbian affair with her best friend. Pornography was the spark that started that fire…she felt no shame about her actions. She was pregnant at 17 and didn’t know who the father was but, it was 1 of 3 college guys. Pornography ruins the lives of more than the person who watches it…it destroys families.

I Am 14, unfortunately I was exposed to it at 9 or 10, I have got help from my parents and God, it has been fixed for now, it was a big think in a life for a child. And the cause for my spike in Christianity was the draw and help from got for me to relise it was wrong, it wasn't until I was 13 I got help. Pornography is a big thing to ask God to take care of and get help. Thank you for this, I'm shure it will help many.

Renewing your mind daily in the Scriptures because the Bible says to hide the word of God in your heart that you might not sin against Him

For me my perception of women was terrible, looking at them as objects for me to impress, without realizing that there equally human as me. It’s quite disturbing how pornography can do to ones spirit and mental and the industry itself is horrific as well. Even communication between my friends to stop watching that garbage is hard enough but they simply didn’t accept Jesus into there heart so it’ll be hard for them. Now I look as women as a child of god, and treat women equally no matter how they look.

Please pray for me, I’m scared for my life and my loved ones, I am currently imprisoned in this sin, I always fight it and most of the time I lose, I always struggle and cry to what if I can no longer be delivered from this, I always confess and how I pray that God removed this permanently in my life. Pray for my deliverance and pray that I may serve God as a living sacrifice. Please pray for me brothers and sisters, I am desperate to serve Jesus and to be free from this sin.

Pornography poisoned me for many years. When i was addicted to it, my life became so miserable and it gave me a lot of depression. The consequences of it doesn't get away in just a snap, it lingers for a very long time. The Lord delivered me from it at the point when I feel so hopeless of being freed.

I cut off Pornography like a Poisonous wound I put it to Death In Order to please God It's not Easy,but it MUST be done Also having a Brother/Sister in Christ who can hold you Accountable also helps

My wife fixed me up in one respect. I, back in 2005 had an experience where trauma had its way as it was God who called me to holiness. So I repented and I was celibate for 12 years. No porn no masturbation no nothing. Then my life took a Job Dive and woa!! I had it worse than Job, believe me. But then I met my wife. She demanded absolute purity as did I. And I've been so blessed ever since. Flee the devil. Flee sexual immorality. It's a type of evil that is pernicious especially. Not to mention the scripture..."the sexually immoral will not inherit the kingdom of God". Either you want Jesus or sex. Choose who you will serve.

I’d be willing to help in any way I can. I’ve struggled for 40 years. Gaining freedom requires very hard work, but it’s worth it! God is good!

I got into pron seeing for a while with my husband. Then Jesus in my dream told me to stop it and in return he will save some one in my family. I immediately stopped because i dont want anything bad to happen to my parents. Later my dad met with an accident. He had internal bleeding in his head. Was in ICU for couple of months but without any operation he came out with loss of memory. Over years his memory is recovering. His living is gods miracle. Praise the lord 🙏🏻

I’m disappointed his advice did not include daily Bible reading. The Christian men who I disciple that struggle with this have one thing in common: a lack of daily commitment to the Word of God. They all sit under fantastic Bible teachers, are part of Lifestage groups and some even serve in the church. Add all that up and you have about 3 hours a week of Christian activity. While I believe that is good, it’s not enough. A daily renewing of the mind in the word of God is critical. I would go so far as to say Porn is to powerful of an addiction to overcome with out it. It's been an addiction for me since I was exposed to it and since then I have always thought am I just a fraud? And for about a year by the grace of God and alot of self discipline to a degree its been lessened and its a constant fight at times its easy rather than other times where it's a Challenge by i always lean towards Christ and His Word

I got over it quite fast by fearing the Lord. Another thing that opened my eyes when I understood that 'God sees every thing' masturbating and fantasy it's really quite sobering.

Struggled since 8-9 years old.. would be left at home alone afterschool with a cpu . Non married . One of the hardest sins I ever struggled with... Constant battles. Failures time and time again. Tears all the time . Just walking on the street can be hard have to look down at the sidewalk many times. Nowadays everything is sexualized even RU-vid .

This Sin is very hard to get rid of. The 24/7 free availablity of an unlimited amount of Videos is what makes it so difficult. The main Problem is my Lifestyle which increases the temptation. Try and occupy yourself everyday to avoid the temptation. I pray for everyone who goes through this struggle.

Masturbation and pornography is not a replacement for marriage. But many men try. And they fail miserably. The younger generation knows nothing different. God help them should he have mercy. Pray he does. Mercy is not to be demanded.

im a born again follower of jesus. and my struggle with porn is demonic. i can hear demons talking trying to make it seem as if their words are my thoughts. and i have learned to divide my thoughts from the spiritual.when i learned to listen to the holy spirit i also learned that demons have always been talking to me and when i wasnt aware of the holy spirit i thought those were my thoughts.. but the holy spirit made me see the difference between GOD and spirits... GOD always wants the best for you while evil spirits want you to do evil. Im in active spiritual warfare and i feel as if i am ready to take on all the armies of the wicked one and stand by my lord and savior JESUS CHRIST..

Your body is Gods temple, just like christ rebuked buying and selling in Gods house you too must reject satanic transactions in your body. Meditate on this.

the thing that really makes me sad is that this type of temptation happend inspite of phone, computer,etc. diferent from drugs wich is something outside the body.

Glory to God for his provisions and grace towards me. I was delivered from this, and returned as a dog his vomit. Repentance is not just a salvation issue, but is importance regarding all our sinful ways. The Lord was gracious again, longsuffering so that I might truly see the dangers and destruction it causes. Many watch porn for short term sex experience to satisfy their sexual needs but for me real sex experience with human partner is much better than watching porn and then having self pleasure. We have been watching porn in some point in our life and we learn from it. We learn from that mistake and thats enough we must flee from it period. Porn should not control us with our sexual needs. Its dangerous.

I have quit years' worth of nicotine addiction easier than I struggle to with pornography. Porn is EXTREMELY addictive.

Anyone struggling with these issues should get into a 12 step recovery group. Anything short of that is unlikely to produce lasting healing and freedom, in my experience. There are loads of groups both in person and online: Celebrate Recovery, Samson Society, Pure Desire Ministries, SAA groups, SLAA groups, etc.

Repent, believe, be baptized, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

You cannot do it on your own, let Jesus break this sin for you ! Jesus is far stronger than any chain any bondage, any addiction ! Jesus is the Savior :)

Paul said "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Sexual sin is the only sin that is done inside the body. This should make people tremble with fear. Jesus preached on the mount that there were 2 sins that would send you to hell, sexual immorality was one of them. So run away. Where do we run to? We run into the refuge of the Father. We cry out for deliverance to the Father. We fast food and sleep, in prayer for deliverance. "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." I don't agree that these things are life long struggles. This bondage will be broken for those that fight. "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force". You don't receive deliverance by way of laziness. Pray, fast, cry-out without ceasing all while giving glory and thanksgiving to Jehova. It will happen. Take it by force. “Neither do I condemn you; go and SIN NO MORE.” - Jesus

Ive been clean from porn for 3 weeks now. What worked for me is lifting dumbbells. I miss watching porn but i am too tired from heavy lifting so I just rest and sleep.

At this point, quit TALKING about it and put in action to PREVENT it. It's still out there. Pornography isn't also just down to the website you go on, it's in everyday life. The constant talks around you and emphasis on sex, the people who go to porn or masturbation to cope with negative feelings, the models you see online half naked and girls trying to look the same way too, if nothing will be done it's all over anyways for society. I honestly wonder who allowed this to be online in the first place.

All that was said here is irrelevant because Porn literally can't be completely blocked. Until someone comes up with a way to block the images from showing on a screen, at the screen level, it's all moot. This is why is a life long struggle and unlike alcohol and drugs, porn is everywhere. Move to the country, get rid of screens, you might have a chance.

It's not just women who are objectified in pornographic content. Men get objectified too.

While this was “good information”, he lacked the ability to refer to scripture in what God says about sex, pornography and other sin that we commit against God. Unfortunately we have to be careful of what we hear and what is taught. The problem here is that if a person is lost and is having trouble with pornography, this message wouldn’t truly give them hope. Most grown ups enjoy sex in many ways including pornography. The claims that these two are making about the harm pornography does is nonsense. The vast majority of adults are not harmed by pornography anymore than the vast majority of people are not harmed by a fried egg!

Let me share my personal thoughts on this topic and my method, which really is just acting logically, with you. Pornography will never satisfy you, instead it robs you of your spirit and your energy. This is because you are (seemingly, but as I said, it doesn't even satisfy the need for love and sex) releasing your sexual energy BY WATCHING OTHER PEOPLE HAVING SEX AND THINKING/FOOLING YOURSELF YOU WOULD BE THE ONE IN THAT SCENE. Now, how on earth is this natural behaviour, when in fact you should PROJECT YOUR SEXUAL ENERGY INTO FINDING A LOVING WIFE AND PROCREATING WITH HER! Watching porn and masturbating to it compared to having sex with your wife you are heavily attracted to, both physically and spiritually, is like comparing eating stones to eating your favourite dish cooked my your mum. And that is the wonderful thing about gods creation. His intents are for our own good too! You just have to patient, have faith and use your energy the right way! Stop robbing yourself of your sexual energy, which is meant to give you motivation and strenght finding the right wife and procreating with her. Stop devalueing sex by watching other people having it casually. Believe in the good, trust in god, his way his the true way to live.

These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved.
