Out of 71 fords, 2 had fucked off side CV joints and one failed to start. That’s passion. The people who own these cars are just as important as the car itself. If it weren’t for the passionate owners only 2 cars would still be working and 69 made into bean cans.
This in wellingborough northants, i use to live in corby, which is just up the road, furthermore i applied for a job at cosworth engineering in st james( jimmys end) Northampton, unfortunately I never got the job, im i massive fan of ford RS's.
One thing I noticed, barely anyone had the Aero Delete Option where it takes the top half of the rear spoiler off, I feel they get hated on way too much
@@cossiefordman720was that an option offered by dealerships back then? I'd imagine the common 90s man would want a cosworth for the outrageous yet functional aero lol
@@possibly8180 it was a dealership option after mid 1993 it was called the “Aero Delete Package” where the rear wing and front lower splitter could be removed at the point of sale, the option was only offered by Ford because of some media backlash calling the car’s appearance outlandish and provocative, very few people went for the option as a matter of fact it’s only 3 digit numbers the amount of true Aero Delete cars out there as most believed it diminishes the character of the Escort Cosworth
