my Coton was 17 when he passed away. What an absolutely wonderful dog! He was funny. He didn’t roll on his back to have his tummy tickled. He stood up on his hind legs. He would squeaked his toys and talk back to it. We had a light weight ball that when we threw it he would bounce it off his head, spin around, and bounced it off his butt. He was special! Such a love! My heart is still broken. I miss him so much.

@@juliawpunkt5349 Relatively easy but you need to stick to a schedule. These dogs like to please you and do well with positive reinforcement. The key really is a schedule for eating, playing, napping and bathroom time.

Best ddog I ever had was a coton, he was a rescue and was maybe 2-3 years old when i got him turned out to be so loving and funny and smart, I'd do anything almost to have another one like that something truly special in those dogs.

My Little Chloe found me 13 years ago and she's still rocking it like a puppy! She's one of the best dog I've ever had and I usually have golden retrievers. She gets along with everyone and she's boss when it comes to my labs. I absolutely love this dog! ❤

I have a 6 month old pooton ( part toy poodle and part Coton) He is the sweetest little thing. Has the Coton coat rather than the poodle. It is so soft it almost feels its not there! Love his sweet personality. And the adorable back leg standing and walking talent just gets me giggling ever time. He is for sure the star of the show!! Learning more and more about this breed. I love my little guy, Figgy.

Ive got 3 French. Ive had loads of dogs, but never as intelligent as Cotons. They even bark words in syllables and even use my tone. And l haven't trained them to do it either.They plot stuff together as well. And excellent guard dogs. They have incredible balance, and are almost like cats in some ways. They like to sleep high up. I think this is to keep away from the crocodiles. One presses a hotel service bell with her paw when she wants something.

I purchased a white one who is a delight but I keep him in a Bichon cut because he plays so hard with my Bichon he gets matted.

I have a Coton. He is 10 years old now and still acts like a puppy. Cotons are intelligent, affectionate and playful. I usually keep him in full coat. So I have to bring him the groomer once a month. My groomer would put him in her granddaughters playpen with her. That says how a dog groomer saw him. He is unaltered. Most groomers would NEVER do that. He is very friendly. Everyone who meets him loves him. When we went to doggy school all he wanted to do was please me. So he did well in school but wanted to meet all the other dogs.

My dog hates being brushed currently still on that task, that's why I'm here to learn abt her before I sell her for $40-$50
