Very nice! Congratulations. Hope to summit Cotopaxi on May 24th. What other peaks did you climb in Ecuador prior to Cotopaxi? I am taking four days in Quito including the fourth day climbing Rucu Pichincha followed by a higher peak followed by illianza Norte two days before Day 1 of my Cotopaxi journey. I am hoping that is enough time.
Thank you! Sounds like your trip is very similar to ours. We spent 3 nights in Quito and hiked Pasochoa first. That evening there was a large mudslide, and we were unable to climb Rucu Pichincha. We instead climbed to the refuge of Illiniza Norte and back down. The next day we climbed to the refuge again, stayed the night, and summited the next morning before heading to Cotopaxi.
