I have that jacket, and it's usually too warm for me in the low 50s coastal weather, but it's perfect for me in mid to high 40s, humid and windy weather.
Thanks man! I would steer you toward something like the Big Agnes Smokin axel, patagonia nano airor the LL Bean Stretch Packaway hoodie as a mid layer as they are a bit more breathable. But this would do fine as well, though it is designed to be more of an outer piece, you can't beat the price.
The Rab Xenair looks like an awesome active midlayer. The "Atom LT killer" hahah. Or go for the Patagonia DAS Light Hoody for something more windproof.
“Paxi” and it’s more of just a light weather jacket it’s not supposed to replace the more heavy duty ones so if you use it for it’s intended function then actually it’s quite great
I don’t have one but I think the Cotopaxi Capa is a better synthetic insulated jacket from first glance. Similar to the Patagonia nano puff in a lot of ways.
