Fairycore club!! I love it so much because not only do you get the comfortable aspects of cottagecore, you get the mischef and more immersion in nature of goblin core, and flowy fairylike clothes :))
@@erikasteinhart ahh that's awesome!! I didn't anticipate for so many likes on my comment. Its lovely to see other people who love fairycore as much as I do! 💕🌸
I’ve heard a lot of people hating cottagecore/goblincore because it’s popular and I have too say. Don’t hate it because of the popularity, we are all a lovely happy goblin flower family. We will accept anybody, and as the popularity grows, our family grows! Have a lovely day everybody, blessed be~
I've had someone call me quirky and cringy for liking cottagecore and goblincore and I'm just like- _okay dude-_ I know cottagecore is well known but I never knew it was considered popular-
i've found that my dream lifestyle is cottagecore... which seems kind of odd when i dress like a mix of kidcore, y2k, and hippie, and my ideologies are definitely punk, but i think i'm okay with being a bit of a mess when it comes to my aesthetics.
Same here to be honest. Like here I am making all of these cottagecore videos all focused on nature and stuff but my style recently has been like a bright yellow tee shirt and basketball shorts. And while I enjoy the aesthetic, I'm kinda drifting into glitchcore/weirdcore and even punk territory.
GASP that last tiktok spoke to me so much?? I have my own bug collection and it gives me joy :') I recently got a giant swallowtail and its probably my favorite catch besides my streaked sphinx moth!! Anywae sorry for rambling but lil oddities like that r so cool. Among my bugs i have bones and pressed flowers and shiny things >:)) goblin hours
@@gjungart I find em myself! I make it a point to be respectful to nature and collect ethically, so I research bugs/plants in my area to be sure I don't accidentally get an endangered species. Occasionally I buy an owl pellet or something like that since bones can be harder to find while living in the city, but all my bones come from animals that have already passed.
Dead bugs creep me tf but I also feel bad for them while finding them really cool- I used to collect bugs and keep them as pets when I was younger, but they all died pretty quickly since I didn't know how to take care of them-
Who just has the urge to take their girlfriend under a willow tree and play soft gutair while singing to her in a field by a stream? Just me, okey. Edit: the frick...I have likes huh. Thanks. :) Edit: OMG! So, I'm TRENDING. I'm 10 and the most likes I ever got was 5. Edit: I'm 11 now.
Since I live with my family owning a private forest here’s my morning routine: -Wake up to birds chirping, and poofy pink bedding in a white room with a fireplace. -Change into dress or poofy shirt and dress, no shoes or black flats. -Greet family in dining room -pack a picnic basket of some picnic items 🧺 -Walk outside and greet goats, ducks, farm cat, dogs. -Head to the near by pond, sit and read on a cleaned up tree by the water. -run in the flowers, sing to myself and spot some deer. -do my school work in my tree house (homeschooled because small cozy town doesn’t have a good school and I love staying in the forest) -Pick flowers. -head home to help my mother with dinner -Greet my dad who’s home from work -Eat food, change into nightgown after shower -Sit by the fireplace and read, write etc. -Head to bed :) Sry if I’m bragging, I just recently moved here w my family when my grandpa got to old to live here, I’m still so excited to have the freedom :)
Tbh I would love to change parts of my lifestyle to fit in the Cottagecore aesthetic but it’s not possible :/ Not to mention there are no forests or pretty rivers/lakes with moss and mushrooms since I live in a state where it’s almost 99% sand/desert I’ve thought about doing desert Cottagecore when I move out but haven’t seen much about it to figure out what I would like to do exactly
I'm a punk, what am I doing here? No idea! My heart is soft and I love you all dosen't matter your look, Orientation, gender or skin color! You're accepted by me!
My friend has now got into the tip of the iceberg for goblin core What I mean is that he wants to be a tiny wizard living in a forest cave singing with his plants and frogs
I like goblincore and dark cottagecore, but I would like to look like a formal punk elf King who has spiky knee-high boots, but a very fancy black ruffle and lace shirt. I would be so cool. B)
Maybe dark academia? I have also seen someone offer the aesthetic dark goblincore. I bet there's a better term somewhere but I can't think of anything else.
so uh hi... while these tiktoks are really cool and super wholesome and i would hate to be a buzzkill, the word "goblin" and it's meaning can be very antisemitic... it's rooted in the myth that jewish people are obsessed with money. im sure you didnt do it on purpose, but i would suggest the term "corvidcore" or something similar to title future comps to make sure that you are everyone feels welcome. i am not jewish myself but i've been personally asked by a jewish friend to stop using the word and researched its folklore. thank you for reading and have a good day/night!!
Umm I feel like it's only bad if being used in a derogatory way right??? Because a goblin is also a mythical creature that came before the meaning was changed into something bad.. as long as no one is using it towards someone it should be fine to still use goblincore etc... Sorry if I'm not understanding you 🌱✨🖤
I’d argue that taking the word “goblin” and applying it to something more positive like in Goblincore helps to take the word back. Before finding Goblincore I’d never heard/known the term goblin to be used in any kind of insulting way towards actual people (ie not in a fantasy setting.) Rather than letting the antisemitic root die out like it deserves, now it lives on because people are continuing to spread the negative association through ‘awareness’ rather than remove any power the word has against them and let it evolve into something positive. Literally the ideals of Goblincore is to show the beauty in the messy, the overlooked, the ‘ugly.’ It’s the complete opposite of any antisemite sentiments.
@@KlutzyNinjaKitty interesting thought! but as i said, i'm not jewish, so it definitely wouldn't be my place to decide if they should take the word back.
I really love and appreciate how chill and respectful you guys are about this, I was really expecting someone to just go all out about this comment being "wrong" or "disrespectful" love you guys, and thank you for letting me know!!
