Cotylorhynchus is by no means a fodder or a meat sack, if we look in its fossil evidence we can clearly see it had strong limbs and retractable claws which it most definitely used to forage and fight off predators like dimetrodon. Another unique thing about Cotylorhynchus is that it was likely a semi aquatic being able to swim using its long tail, strong limbs and its body fat to swim effectively, also we know that one of Cotylorhynchus's relatives was a full blown aquatic.
@peabrain6872 thats so stupid to be honest, Cotylorhynchus was most definitely capable of matching the speed of a konodo dragon, it may of been fat but its limbs were 10Xs as mascular

Good for the chunky boi. I dont think many will played much, but if it is small, at least you can hide with it and thats nice. I dunno why i aint impressed by tropeognathus, maybe because i was thinking about geostenbergia... but good! more flyers! servers with this feel more alive tbh.
Even if coty is unviable, i dont mind having another permian creature getting some love. But personally i hope we get more info on the giant spider, ants, or titanoboa. Non Mesozoic, triassic, and jurassic creatures need more love 😢
Add me to the list of being excited for Tropeognathus; it's one of my favorites. Although I like pterosaurs in general (as well as playing them), so I think I'd be excited for any of them. XD
Same here. As much as I like dinosaurs, I like pterosaurs even better. I've played all 4 pterosaurs in pot. They're a lot more fun to play than a lot of the dinos. My fave to play is rhampy. I also play beasts of bermuda & the tropeo is the only thing I play as. With the tropeo also being in path of titans, I'll get to play it on both of my fave dinosaur games. Def excited 4 the tropeo.

Great Video, Would love to see the Cotylo and Tropeo in game. Now it would be nice to see someone make an E.T mod for the game it'll be cool to see E.Ts running around and slapping raptors in the face HeHe :)
Coty should be able to combat megalania, as a sort of physical attacker with its massive claws and arms as well as a powerful tail and mabe even a fun belly slam As well as a semi aquatic potential to be the first aquatic herbivore
it would be neat if PoT eventually had enough modded animals from certain eras like the permian and triassic that community servers could make "realistic" rosters of creatures that existed more or less at the same time. would be interesting to see a carboniferous server with playables that are mostly bugs!
Awesome, we need more archosaurs/sinapsids mods, so this makes me happy that they added this chonker to the game. Now, i hope that after they finish cotylorhynchus they can make Erythrosuchus in the future as well.
I'm actually excited for all these mods, but especially Bistahiversor if anything bc I love Tyrannosauroids (just Tyrannosaurus itself is an overrated dinosaur) I wish someone would make Lythronax bc it's my favourite dinosaur And an Albertosaurine like Gorgosaurus or Albertosaurus (preferably Gorgosaurus) would be nice too And I also wish someone was making a more basal Tyrannosauroid mod such as Guanlong, Eotyrannus or Juratyrant But some more Sauropods would be nice too So it's good that the Omeisaurus and Apatosaurus mod are coming to the game And since there's such few Pterosaurs in the game I think it's good that Tropeognathus is coming But some more Pterosaurs like Dimorphodon, Pteranodon, Tapejara, Nyctosaurus, Dsungapterus and Eudimorphodon would be welcome And as far as Ceratopsians go it's just cool that Pentaceratops will be added, not specifically a lack of them If there's anything I'd wish for in that regard would be Protoceratops, Yinlong, Montanaceratops, Zuniceratops, Avaceratops, Diabloceratops, Einiosaurus and Kosmoceratops (and I'm glad that Torosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus will be coming)
I have a question for all of you guys. Why pot now has 25-30 fps on mobile? After the new update i was able to play it on 60 fps but lt changed with the update.
Need more useful dino specially herbs to combat all the apex carni that are in the game. Carni always get a better support and higher focus from the game. Herbs are not push overs but are treated like it.
May I make a suggestion? This is something I've been seeing for a while and it's bugging me. When you’re talking about the mods, it might be better to just show footage pertaining to that particular mod? I notice you tend to use a lot of footage from PoT dev update videos in the background, which don’t relate to what you’re actually talking about. For example while discussing Tropeognathus, you were using a fair bit of footage of the already in-game Thalassodromeus. Other times you’ll be saying “this mod” or something, but what’s on screen has nothing to do with the mod. Don’t mean to criticize, love the updates! I just find this to be awkward and very distracting. Thank you :)
