Ok you always make me homesick. I’m not a cou cou fan but that is a Saturday afternoon memory I won’t forget. I could see my father walking through the door from work and my mother over the pot. Loved it. ❤❤👍🏾👍🏾

It was truly a wonderful day, and we had so much fun together. By the way Tina forgot to tell you that her sea bath, cou cou, mauby and the heat of the day quickly knocked her out cold with sleep at the outside patio table. I regret not taking her picture and uploading it as Tinaraine's famous recipe for slumber.😂😂😂😅

Hi Tina. I am commenting so late, but I just had to. I used to love this meal. However, I lost the taste for it. My brother & husband still loves it. It still looks good & am sure it still taste good. I can appreciate a family effort. Enjoy being in Barbados. Hopefully I should be their for the holidays this year. I miss the food, & all the goodness(serenity) there. Thank u.
Sometimes when you've not had something in a while you tend to lose the taste for it. I think if you get a good tasting cou cou the taste would come right back. thanks so much for watching.
Wow Tina that is a big ball of cou cou. I just missed you. I returned from there a week ago. If I knew you were there, we could have meet up. Enjoy your stay. I had an enjoyable vacation. Maybe next time. Be safe.💕
Wow tinaraine!! Good job done by your sisters. I would have put some butter all over the top of the cou cou and I usually put the pickle cucumber on top of my cou cou instead of hot sauce.
cou-cou looks nice, but I cut my okras smaller, sometimes I grate them, add them to cold water, and as soon as the water starts to boil, I remove the okras, and place them until I am ready to add them...I stir my meal with the plain okra water until cooked, and them add the okras, stir, cover and let seat for a few minutes....okras cook very quick, so the heat will finish cook the okras.....so, my cou-cou will be very yellow, and the green okras pop out ....not like some that they over cook the okras, making them dull, and the water red.....so the presentation is much nicer, and I hate mellow cou-cou...firm to cut and take up with the tip of a fork....in realiaty, cou-cou is a hand food...and your style is real Bajan style...NO Coleslaw, etc....sometimes, avacado, , yam, some green banana....and you are so correct...cou-cou without real Bajan pepper sauce, is incomplete
Hello Alade, thank you so much for watching! I love cou cou, don't get to eat it very often but when I do its an enjoyment. I appreciate you watching the channel. Have a bless day.
