Great video. I just did my first coues hunt in November. 100% solo DIY. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Ended up packing out a nice 6pt. Crazy terrain compared to where I hunt whitetail at home. Can't wait to do it again.

I am always out riding the trails and back roads down south and have never seen a buck always find does ! I am an amputee so it makes it a little difficult to climb the canyons and hills on foot but I did meet a fellow amputee in the Palo Verde springs area who would run around like a mountain goat so I guess I gotta step up my game ! I do not hunt anymore but I do like going out and filming the wildlife especially at night .

Ever considered putting an ARCA rail on the forearm of your stock and getting a tripod head you can just clamp onto ARCA stuff? Would simplify the process of switching from optics to gun on the tripod and add stability to the shot since clamping to a rail is more stable. Salmon River Solutions makes a full length (11") ARCA rail that's only 3.4 ounces. Makes the gun a bit more annoying to shoot offhand but for coues I doubt that happens much. Plus you can attach ARCA compatible bipods like the MDT Ckye pod (check out the double pull) and MDT Grnd Pods anywhere along the rail as well.
