I live in SC and I had an encounter with a mt lion last summer... and someone up the road caught it on camera... But people are still in denial that they're around.....EVEN THOUGH THERE'S PROOF!!
@@ariannanoelle2314 Be care full because they are all up and down the east Coast, and if one is hungry, and see you it will eat you.. They like to attack you from behind. Dont go hiking alone, because they will come after you.
We've got cougar here in nc people wake up and smell the coffee they turn cougar lose every time we have too many dear in our woods here in nc they keep the dear population down so yes we have cougar in our woods and bobcat
No matter what NC's wildlife officers say, they are absolutely 100% here all over North Carolina....... I have friends and family that have seen them...... One was at the front door of my in-laws trying to eat from the trash bags in Bladen County, one was perched up on a thick tree branch with the long tail hanging down staring back at my brother-in-law and nephew who were 60-70ft away near the North/South Carolina border in Robeson County, one was laying on the side of the road (got hit 😥) just outside of Pembroke, and one has trail camera footage of one in Columbus County. Don't need more proof than that.

I recorded this a few years ago in Franklin County NC. The video I have on my computer is much more clear. It appeared to be a large cat with a long, slender tail. it also seemed much larger than a regular house cat, next to the trees it passed behind.
Wow what part of Franklin county. I live just off 401 about a mile inside Wake County and have heard some weird screams at night. Hunt a lot near Centerville but have never seen anything in that area
It was in Louisburg, not far off 401. The Citgo gas station at the corner of 401 and flat rock church road is about 2 miles from where this was recorded.
Oh I know they are here I live outside of Charlotte a couple years ago during fireworks one charged across the road and came right by me and jumped the fence in our yard I was like OMG did you just see that
only cats have growing eyes like that and there is only one big cat in NC and its the western cougar but the western cougar has been extinct for a 10 years know so if it's real it's incredible
It's true it could be another animal such as a deer or a coyote or bear could even be a feral dog however although uncommon there are actually cougars in the Appalachian Mountains including in North Carolina
