5 weeks ago I got Covid for the first time ever. I’ve gotten better but the dry cough won’t go away. I sleep fine with no coughing fits but when I wake up the cough returns within 1-2 hours and then I cough periodically all day. When I workout I can feel crap in my chest. It gets better when I’m done. Man this is so messed up
Thank you for your advice re post covid cough. My GP put me on steroids and antibiotics for 5 days yesterday. Was feeling sorry for myself, up comes your video. I have woken up WID OF YOUR VIDEO to 1.get out about, 2.continue my day walking
I got mild COVID and the ongoing cough w phlegm, it went away within a month by taking vitamin c gummies, elderberry, turmeric, ginger water, cutting out sugar, drinking clove water, eating healthier food
Every body is different so we all experience the symptoms differently mainly try to Google what enhances the immune system and instead of staying in bed try being more active since movement also helps
I just got tested positive to COVID-19. Man, it is tough. I had 102 deg fever, body ache, chill, stuffy nose, and fatigue. I just finished Paxlovid. I am drinking tea twice a day with cardamon, ginger, cinnamon, and clove.
I didn’t get too sick from COVID initially but I developed a cough that lasted about 10 months, started out dry then became productive. About a month ago, it just went away abruptly.
@@dianereiser6417 I found a solution, 10000IUs vitamin D3 + 200mcgs vitamin K2 twice a day. Within 48 hours my symptoms were permanently relieved. After 5 days I now have a tiny occasional cough. It will be entirely cured within another week I imagine. I think I was probably vitamin D3 deficient that caused me to develop asthma after a bout of flu/covid. These high amounts of vitamin D3 and K2 are generally recommended only by a few sources of information on the Internet and are well over the official recommended levels. I think the pharmaceutical industry is corrupt and that is why recommended vitamin intake is below the correct , actual proper level.
thank you for your info.... I too have this maddening cough that doesn't go away and I can't get the clear mucus by coughing it up and out, no matter how hard I try. I have never been able to cough up mucus. My question is: is it bad to just swallow the mucus, as I do, will it eventually go away? It is clear and thin, but impossible to cough up? thx
When i caught covid Dec 2021 the cough lasted me over a year. I had to be put on 2 different inhalers. Finally got back to normal & got covid again earlier this month & cough came back. Very aggravating. Back on both inhalers.
I personally think, /from my own experience/... that if, even after a year or more, sputum forms in the bronchi, residual covid infection is to blame, which settles where your body has weaknesses....and it needs to be re-treated even /after a year or two, /preferably with ivermectin

I had covid for 11 days. The cough after was worse. Bringing up stuff but mostly stuck. Doc gave me antibiotics and steroids for 5 days. It worked coughing stopped and chest chest better. So covid left me with a chest infection
My 9 year old is on zinnat antibiotics for 5 days now. What happened is 3 weeks after getting Covid her cough started getting worse and is now producing a lot of phlegm. We are on our 5th day and although the coughing has lessened there is still a lot of phlegm
It sucks.... My covid became negative but a week later I had this dumb cough ..it could be fine for a week than boom! I get this cough....I hope it leaves.... Thanks bro, I feel a little better though

I'm still battling a long-lasting COVID cough. I got infected in August 2023 on a cruise. Now it's late November and it's making me (and my husband) nuts. I think dehydration is an issue for me, so I'm going to make a concerted effort to hydrate better. Hopefully that helps. Thank you!
How are the two of you doing? I've had.mine for a month and went in to be seen Dr order a chest x-ray to rule out lung cancer. That was scary for him to say that Waiting on those results

Thank you. I am only 1 week after Covid and also have Sjogrens Syndrome so the cough is troublesome. Its so bad I often wet myself and vomit. I know it's early and I will need to wait it out. I appreciate your help.
@@ashley_p825 I’m not sure if it either run it’s course and went away on its own or the bronchodilator had something to do with it. I didn’t use the latter for very long so not sure if it helped, but it might have.
I have asthma and mild vocal cord paradoxical disorder, and I've noticed in the past day or so, I got covid last week and its going away accept for the cough which is getting worse, I have this... It sounds dry but wet at the same time, as odd as that sounds, and its like I get these weird little coughing fits. How do I stop these coughing fits? I think its both the vocal cord and asthma issue, but I'm not really sure how to stop it. My mother told me to be well-hydrated, and I've been working on that, but even when I drink a lot, the cough doesn't go away. Also, thank you for the video. :)

hello doctor I am Manish from India. i was infected COVID with mild symptoms April 19 2021 . after recovery i have persistent coughing and breathing problem. right now i am taking treatment from AIIMS new delhi. but not significant improvement. please help.
Well, I am still coughing after a month of Covid and my doctor prescribed a steroid pack which helped a tiny bit but I've still got the cough. She has prescribed a prescription cough medicine and I'm getting mixed results. She warned me that a lot of people have the cough for months or over a year. I'm going to try adjusting my diet, losing weight and getting a bottle of pure elderberry syrup for my immune system.
I had covid 4 weeks ago and since then I've had a constant dry cough I'm asthmatic too wich doesn't help but I've been given a form from my doctor to have a chest X-Ray just for peace of mind etc
@@ivanyu3930 My cough isn't too bad now I didn't have the chest X-Xray because I was busy at the time but I feel alot better now than I did when I wrote that comment I've also been using my inhaler more than usual too which has also helped alot
I have been very blessed to never get Covid because I don’t be exposed by lots of different people daily and stay away from crowded areas especially during the Flu season 😷 Haven’t been sick in over 15 years
Dr. Advice No matter what is your health problem. 1. Drink more water 2. Wear N95 mask 3. Must be Acid Reflux 4. Stress 5. Don’t Smoke 6. Exercise 7. Lose weight. So I watched a video of a Doctor who got Long Covid and much better than this mediocre doctor. I have a PhD and I go to the doctor and it is always the same mindless repetition. I am 67 , will probably outlive most of my doctors (few dead already) All of them I could beat to death- have to restrain myself as I listen to their same crap they endlessly repeat. As I said others are much more useful.
