@@IRLROOP yes efteling started in 1952 as a playground for children in the following years it has grown into what it is today...if i'm correct they will expand even further in the future

You can get there from Amsterdam by train but no we went from Rotterdam since we went to twitch con but there are a few changes to do bout 2 n half hour journey bit shorter from Amsterdam I think

She’s a good friend of mine who worked with me in lanzarote for TUI blue holidays I booked to visit Holland mainly for twitch con this year and then arranged to meet her because we are friends she lives like 15 minutes from the park and works there so we went around the park and she knows everything about the park

Only Europapark and Disneyland Paris get more visitors. Heidepark is by far not part of the absolute top visited parks of Europea

That’s personal obviously. Depends what ur looking for. Efteling is unique, because it’s just one big nature park. They probably have the best dark rides in the world and the theming is up there with the best as well. The German parks are so different.

Have you been there then i lived at biking distance from it and i love it it has something for everyone. Its not that a thrillseeker park really but i find the theming and the fact that its in a huge forest with a themepark in it. For thrills you go to other parks but thats what most people get there.

Honestly loved it there the way it was built amongst the nature the thrills are not the best but it’s so magical theming was on point

@@lordgandalf22 have i been there. 🤣 I have a season pass, all together for more then 10 years now. You mention the forest aspect, but het sprookjesbos is getting less and less forest. Now with the new hotel its getting worse. Other parts of the park the same story, Baron 1898, former spot of de Bob etc. There was absolutely no reason to remove Polka Marina, saying it was replaced by a children playground in a other part of Ruigrijk. Knowing Efteling has a absolutely shortage of flat rides. It could do with a dozen of them. Add a few good shows, better horeca, etc and they will get closer to Europa Park. But until then Efteling should be happy that they are allowed in the shadows of Europa Park.
