There was a time when I’d choose a collab over diss tracks…but after Kendrick/Drake I changed my mind. I think it would be earthshaking to have these 2 go back and forth. Then if it is, Em just got what he wanted, which was to get a chance to secure the damn belt. It's not direct but connecting means throwing out a lot of bait to see who will eat it and respond. Em is more than ready for anything right now, to prove that he is No.1 if the one who wins the beef is the better rapper and deserves to move ranking positions in the real world, and no magazine or any platform will doubt him anymore. Imo trying to connect the Empire State Building line to all of this is a bit of a reach, if Em really was taking exception alone to Jay being No.1 and above him he’d be more clear about it, he doesn’t really deal with sublims
