A few coins, some cool relics and is that gold I see ? ( nope ) Theme song " Metal Detector " by Jose Vanders available for download on iTunes ! itunes.apple.com/us/album/met...
Dear ones, your story was adventure, excitement, romance...ticked all the boxes. You made me smile and filled my heart. I hope you share the wedding, too!! Bless you both!! And keep digging...I wish you another treasure (although none could top the one you shared with us with this posing).
You have no idea. I am so let down with this permission as far as coins. I thought I found a real gem but it just hasn't produced. Only one silver and two wheats. Oh well. I've already pulled up a couple of possibilities from USGS. Old school sites. We'll see. Thanks for the view and post.
Thanks Pete. I've had several different opinions on what it might be and I appreciate your input. Also, thanks for the view and comment! I should have a new video from an 1870 Mansion posting tonight or tomorrow. Subscribe if you like or if you haven't already and stay tuned !
Yes, thank you for replying, that could be some hardy tool that fits in the anvil’s hole for some kind of bending/moulding in the making of some specific item. But it can be several other things.
I have seen more than a few of those tags in my day, that is why I recognized it. I have bought many many roses with tags just like the one you found. Thanks for letting me know I was correct in my assumption.
Thank you ! I returned the sub and look forward to viewing your videos as well. I'm off to a 1870 Mansion today so a new video should post tonight or tomorrow. GL and HH !
Thanks Kay ! I really appreciate the view and comment. I should have a new video posting this Tuesday or Wednesday. I just secured a permission at an incredible 1870 mansion. Stay tuned and feel free to share any of my videos that you like and don't forget to subscribe! Thanks again!
Oh wow! Awesome! I have a metal detector. Maybe we can do some detecting if you don't mind a newbie with ya! :D I love Maine too. Lived here my whole life.
Thanks Bill. An oil can top seems to be the most popular answer followed closely by Ear Trumpet. I still don't know. Lol. Thanks for the view and comment. I truly appreciate it !
Glenn her name is Jose Vanders. I always put a link in my video descriptions that you can click to check out her album including " Metal Detector " my theme song. Thanks for the view !
dammm I think the long cooper thing is a long horn that people used to hear with if they where hard of hearing they would put small part in there ear to hear you better LOL Hey it was all the had back then..... But look at pics of old hearing horn think they are called look at curves, wide part is crushed of course but there might be marker mark look for it? It maybe worth a lot even brushed like that someone might be able to get it bent back right?? I use to metal detect and they say never throw anything out unless your sure it has no value pr collectible, I threw out many a find that I later regretted okkk good luck !!
Thanks Lorisue ! I just had someone else say the same thing so could be. Thanks for watching and commenting and stay tuned. I'm heading out the door right now for a 1870 Mansion and will post a video later tonight or tomorrow !
My first thought was an old hearing assist ... large, generally brass or copper tubes, flared out to catch the sound and narrower to allow the person to hear.
Now THAT would be a first although I have found plenty of copper tubing including one that was coiled up like the Worm from a Still so maybe ? Thanks for checking out my channel and ppsting. It's much appreciated.
I am also an Ohio resident (Summit County, specifically). I've been saving enough funds to purchase a Garrett ACE 300. I already have a few locations in my mind to metal detect at. Best of luck to you in your hunting! One day you will find more than junk and useless relics.
Hey, history unearthed... I'm an amateur metal detector, and the most exiting things I've ever found, was an old horse-pulled tractor tooth, and a "Pepsi Free" lid from long ago. Can you give me some advice on where I could find places that I might find better things around Jacksonville, NC. I'm in Onslow, and am going to go to topsail and/or onslow beach... but I've never found anything but beer cans and pop lids at either beach. I'm just really eager to find something better.
Hello Alyssa and thanks for watching! I use a couple of websites to find areas that may have current or former historical buildings or homes on them. I usually look for former farm sites from the 1800's to early 1900's. One site is the USGS website historicalmaps.arcgis.com/usgs/ and the other is Historic Aerials www.historicaerials.com/viewer . My method is fairly simple. I pull up the map of a site that I feel looks promising using either of these two websites. I save the map to my PC / tablet. THEN I find a current satellite photo of that same area using Google Maps and save it to my PC / laptop. Finally I take the satellite photo and superimpose it onto the historical map or aerial. I can now see EXACTLY where this location is modern day and I'm able to tell if it still stands or not and if it's accessible or not. If you give me an email I'd be happy to send a couple of examples for you. It's easier to see it. Let me know. Good luck !!
Yes Andrew. I've found a few over the last several years. Check out my videos " Monogrammed silver bling, wheaties and my usual mystery item " and " finally some excitement!" You can watch me pull them out of the ground. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Well it hasn't been but it's getting there. My mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and we've been helping her through. She just had surgery yesterday and it looks positive. The doctor says we appear to have caught it early and were able to remove it before it spread to her other organs and lymph nodes. They removed a couple of lymph nodes for testing but, as of right now, things look good. I should be out swinging the detector next week. Thanks for checking up.
Sorry to hear that. I kind of figured something was wrong. She's in good hands there. They always say that if you have a bad heart go to Pittsburgh, but if you have cancer go to Cleveland. They are the best.
Hi Shawn. Everything is good. There is a new video uploading now and I explain my absence in there. Should be uploaded in the next 2 hours or so. Not a very exciting video but just felt the need to get something out there. Don't worry. More frequent videos to come. Thanks for staying with my channel and most of all for checking up on me. It's appreciated.
What I don't get is half of you guys forget important items that should all be ready to go in a bag when you go. Rubbing dirt off and into finds is rather a dumb thing to do.
Thank you Lilly ! I hope you enjoy my channel and videos. I will be posting a new video from a beautiful 1870 Mansion either tomorrow or Wednesday. Stay tuned and thanks for the view and comment !
