Thanks for sharing nice property! There should be silver good luck🍀 I hunt all over but primarily in Central Michigan, and occasionally head South if you want to dig sometime..
Kinda late on comment but here goes! Great hunt! Any ring is a good ring. I get up in Shelby Co. In Sidney. I'd love to go and ping the courthouse Square. Plus so many other sites. One of the best feelings is hearing a high tone! Always fun. I didn't notice which pinger you use but with mine I have to dig em all! Silver and lead ping the same as well as aluminum and gold! I've never found a silver coin or any gold, but I dug a silver toe ring that was a hard 98. Cutest lil thing! Do you still swing n ping?
Todd. I watched the video where you found all the Coppers. You also found a button that had a star on it. Have you identified it? Ot looks to me like a Confederate button. www.google.com/search?q=Civil+War+buttons+with+star+on+them&client=ms-android-mpcs-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&inm=vs#imgrc=0T3QWigc7VrFIM&tts=0 I am from the Northeast Ohio area and would like to meet you as a fellow relic detector.

People used to hide things back before the 30's because they didn't trust banks. Check the barn and basement floors too when you look. Less trash and more chance to find something really spectacular, even dead bodies, if you are into that!
It seems like a heavy strong dining fork, not a long-handled one, would work better than your fingers when digging in the bottom of the hole. You might find one at Goodwill.
That thing at the end was a broken chain clip the swivel part of it. Im sure someone had already said that though. I wish i had time to go detecting it would be fun

All I ever find are pull tabs from beer drinkers, probably going to sell my equipment...really, never find anything of value.BTW the bullet you found was fired out of a Colt...if you look it has left hand rifling which Colt used. The other manufacturers used right hand twist.
