@@secondguitarbug but he's not, i'd say a RU-vidr is someone whose main income comes from the content they create on RU-vid, or they put time into creating content for the platform (i.e. Jack Black), but even the latter I have some issue with.

He didn't even publish that one video which cost half a million to make since it didn't fit his standards so a friend asked him (Ludwig) if he could publish the video to his channel instead to which Mr. Beast agreed. Edit: To people who are saying that Mr. Beast abused his editor 3 yrs ago, that was proven false as there are no significant evidence of him doing so. Heck Mr. Beast even pays for that editor's living and apartment. There has been no news on the incident since then.

I didn't watch all of his videos back then but my younger brother really enjoyed him so I watched occasionally with my brother. To see them collaborate and to see jimmy get to as huge as he is now is really crazy. Congratulations to both of them
I've been watching Jimmy from the early days. It brings a tear to my eye to see him soo successful, yet talk about not needing materialistic things and instead helping people. He has always loved helping people and I wish more people were like this, the world would be a much better place.

edit: turns out past me was right all along 🤓 i’ve been so skeptic of this guy for the past few years thinking, “there’s no way he’s in this not for the money”. but after all this time, he shows that he has the interests of the people at heart and lives a genuine and sincere lifestyle. i respect that a lot.

he may be the 1st to make a billion dollars from youtube, but he puts most of the money he makes back into making videos. he lives in what’s essentially a small studio apartment, not a huge mansion or even fancy house. he’s not in it for the big bucks, and that’s what makes his content so great.

I subbed to him when he was around 30,000 subs and it’s honestly been remarkable to watch his growth. Some of his older content and the way he did things I just had a feeling like how is this guy not bigger? I could just tell that the way he did things he was going to become popular, but wow I could’ve never imagined that he would literally become a global celebrity and would fundamentally changed how we thought of youtubers and how the platform/internet works.
When white people get rich they go out of their way to convince you that they don’t care about money. Behind closed doors they are enjoying their millions and fancy lifestyle. Black people are more honest. They aren’t ashamed to show off their money and enjoy it publicly .

Money is materialistic and he’s proving he doesn’t NEED it all by giving like 99% of his earnings away to people who could do with some life changes.
I don’t think we’ll ever see a RU-vidr become so successful as MrBeast. That’s factoring in his Subscriber count, average views per video (AVP) count, like to dislike ratio and average watch time. It’s incredible what this man HAS accomplished and IS accomplishing. Right now we are literally witnessing a boy who was just your average person turning into a man making absolutely millions.
He has a lot to give because he's so focused on his work. It's honestly incredible how focused he is. Like, I give away as much as I can, but I don't have a lot, because I'm nowhere near as dedicated or focused as he is.
It's really inspiring to see his humility and his drive to help other people. It makes me question the purpose behind my own business. For me, my business is a way of expressing my creativity. You cannot get here with pure luck, pure luck does not get you the insane channel analytics he has simply because it is unfathomably difficult to get the algorithm to constantly and consistently push your content out to people for over a year or two without losing a shred of relevance. As he puts it, you need to find something that a hundred million people would want to click on, and that is a very very difficult task

Right? I think I remember my first video of his being him and Chris buying a storage unit and they got this NASA employees badass locker. All shot on the iPhone when they had to have been about 16 or 17. Dudes inspiring and I hope... Really really hope it rubs off onto other future creators especially in the buying fancy cars and homes just because. Instead put it towards a cause or something that drives your enjoyment in the long run rather than way over priced material things. We have enough of those kind of people as is lol. No more please 🤣

I think a big reason why so many people watch him is because he is not thinking about money. As he said himself in the end "When you die, why does it matter" (to have money) and he's absolutely right!! 🙌🏼

mr beast is a figure i’ve been watching since he hit about 100k. he’s an amazing person that the world needs more than we know. he’s such a huge inspiration for me and millions of others.
