He has never encouraged violence. Nnamdi Kanu is the supreme leader of the agitation of biafran state. Simon Ekpa's action so far will be unravelled by the time Nnamdi Kanu is out. However, nobody can challenge Nnamdi Kanu in the south east and survive. By the way, the Nigerian government has no right to continue to incarcerate him, because he has not committed any crime.
