I am old so a bit more causas with experience and do remember having fun quading in the wilderness but never took the chances you are taking with small one around. Our goal was to get out there and back safely and in one piece without over taxing the equipment. More focused on the wilderness and views then beating up equipment to see how long it would last. Just a different focus with a lighter footprint on the area being travelled. Just saying.
If you can get a locker I'd get one, there's a lot of times one front tire is spinning in the air doing nothing. It doesnt look like it needs a gear reduction. I'd get a winch asap and carry a strap so you can reach a tree if you need it. The one big perk to riding a honda in skeg is they're way easier to get unstuck, they're light enough to push out 9/10 times. I almost bought a 420 but went with the rubicon to get diff lock and IRS.
An old 2002 sportsman. Im putting it up for sale. Im interested in a 700 can am or a 520 or 420 honda because of your videos. Moving the storage box back that far gives some space for 2up riding. Im 6' tall and the honda looks a bit tight for to up riding.
This one is bone stock! But if you check out some of my other videos you’ll see my new one and it has a two inch lift, HMF exhaust, snorkels and a rad relocate! Great quads!
