Back at Crynant ( Tyn Y Graig ) where it all began for the OSG patterns where Mr Bufton of Taff Bargoed Flies he tied a blue flash damsel to my specifications and boy did he absolutely nail this one.
With the fly looking a million dollars i headed to Crynant to put the fly through its passes and as if rehearsed first cast i hooked a fish.
So in todays short session we headed back to Crynant for Mr Buftons birthday bash which had been re arranged due to bad weather and also to see if i could replicate a first cast hook up on the Damsel.
Yet again the fly did not disappoint where the fly was catching fish for many other anglers as well.
