Could This Be The BEST Fighting Game Controller of 2024? - QRD Maestro S3 Review

Recently I was sent this new leverless fighting game controller by QRDGame called the QRD Maestro S3 and honestly this controller could be one of the best fighting game controllers ever. With the QRD Maestro's price being only $170 USD It actually has a really good build quality as well as a really good range of features such as Wireless Mode, Hot Swappable Micro Switches, A Headphone Jack, SOCD Cleaning Modes, an EZ Mode, and much more. It has only 1 real issue and that is... that it doesn't natively support the PS5, XBOX ONE or XBOX SERIES X requiring you to use a converter to play PS5 games HOWEVER you can still use it on your PS5 but without a converter you'll have to play the PS4 versions of games. SO do I think the QRD Maestro S3 is worth it in 2024?

Why would they make a new product's board in-house that only supports last gen? It's almost been 3 1/2 years since the PS5 droppped.

I think it's cause Sony requires a fee to have PS5 support or something like that either way $170 is a good price for what you get especially since the competition's PS4 versions are more expensive with less features. Ultimately I'd say if you want native PS5 support the Snackbox is the best option imo but if you have a smaller budget then the QRD Maestro will serve you well

Sony doesnt like ps5 controllers being sold without a license. That said brooks fgc adapter has been pretty legit for me on the ps4's 8 minute bypass with 2040 boards. Have heard good about it with other boards on ps5 also. Check the compatibility first, but if compatible for $60 it should do the job.
