The ratings people saying it was the lowest numbers of all times who cares for that? They need to get used to now all this big franchises need to step down theres a new sheriff in town. Lets go Rangers lets win a back to back WS to let em know it wasnt just luck let that sink in.

I don’t think anyone who actually watched is accusing us of being lucky. It was very clear we were the best team in the playoffs.

Biggest question is how hard will we go after Montgomery. He’ll easily be a 6 yr / $150M guy. Next is a big bullpen arm. Front line closers are going for $100M and there’s no evidence that works. I’d say get three 3 yr / $6M per guys and find a gem in there.

Pitching has never been in our DNA@@LinkRocks but developing key players in outfield and infield has always been something we have been good at. All three WS rangers teams had key contributors that were home dev projects.

@fr4752for real. People literally change the definition of a dynasty so Astros can be a dynasty. I saw someone say that winning two rings was better than the Giants winning three because Astros went to more pennants.

People are stupid. @@americasteam2112 people forget how much of a measure of greatness it really is to be called a Dynasty. Giants are not a real dynasty by definition (3 in 4 years). Its what makes the Yankees of the 90s so special, they are the only recent true Dynasty in recent times in baseball. There are many in other sports, GS, Spurs, Pats, Lakers, Bama, but all of those happened after the yankees. Hell Yankees first chip, was the Dallas Cowboys last Superbowl apperance lol it just does not happen in baseball like that.

I don't think they'll trade Garcia after what he did in the playoffs. I agree, Leody is the most likely to be moved.

Short term they’re good. They should be right up there again next year. But I don’t think this is the start of like a 10 year run. Adolis, Seager, and Semien are all around 30 years old and those last two are on the books for a long, long time. By the end of Seager’s contract, that number could be a real hindrance. Here’s the other problem: Bally Sports is mega broke. Where’s the local TV money going to come from to keep supporting payroll?

I don’t know how you solve the TV problem. Some teams have their own channels and they’re doing fine, while others are getting hosed because Sinclair sucked all the money out of Diamond/Bally. Maybe the Rangers, Mavs, and Stars go in together and stand up HSE 2.0? Can that even work?

@@merkazoidduff7651Not win every single year lol. Obviously you can’t, that’s the way baseball go. I meant being like the Dodgers or Houston where they’re in the mix year after year. You’d either need unlimited money or be starting with a younger roster than this.
