Microsoft's Power Automate which is bundled in M365 or Power Platform or D365 offering is quickly gaining markets in competition to UI Path. UI Path still by far is leader in RPA.
Nice analysis. At the end you started to talk about the moat but only said that Buffett uses earnings numbers. That doesn't make sense to me. A moat reflects the extent to which a company's products/services distinguish it from possible competitors. I can't see how one could analyze a moat, without knowing the technical details of a company's products/services. A moat is defined as an enduring advantage. What does that mean other than that the company has products/services that are difficult for other companies to reproduce? If you don't know the technical details of what those products and services are and why they are or are not difficult for a competitor to reproduce, it makes no sense (to me) to talk about a moat.
If AI is truly the future, there's no way $PATH doesn't success long term. UiPath will expand quickly if people adopt this company, which is a big ask of people. This could be consolidation near bottom, and I personally love the entry point -- will start a position if earnings are strong on 11/30/23.
