You're right about the love and dedication that you put into your work. Part of me go into everything I make. I strive to make perfect , flawless pieces, nowhere near that yet, but I know the love and dedication in every piece as they come to life. I only do this as retirement hobby, always enjoyed large DIY projects but spinal injury put paid to large projects. Now everything is smaller, more manageable sizes, But have increasing complexities. Christmas is like Santa's Workshop and I love making personal gifts for friends. I sell some pieces, helps towards workshop hire & heating costs, but I don't run as a business per se. Sincerely thank you for the dedication you put into your work and also your RU-vid channel. I love that you respond to just about everyone, and answer their questions which takes extra time & thought. You know how to make everyone feel important, you have the most important ingredient in any business, Love & Care for your Work & Your Customers.

AI is definitely a concern for the of hand crafts but I still think they will struggle to replicate certain aspects that the artist or crafts person has to offer. Really great video all my life I have had a passion for wood if it’s wood I enjoy working with wood on the business side of it learning to price your work is another thing had a friend that thought his work was really good an it was but he wanted to overcharge an could never understand why he didn’t sell more items Just a thought learning to price right is part of it don’t under price either Thanks for sharing loved this video
