Watching how many indignant RU-vid commenters have not looked her up is almost as fun as watching how many people do not recognize Sir Michael Take CBE, Conservative MP for Dorset East. Liv Struss actually has a RU-vid channel, by the way. If you have never encountered her, she is well worth a watch.
Binface as Prime Binister is the dream. Imagine him on the world stage with other world leaders, making state visits to the White House in costume, shaking hands with Xi Jinping. I want it to happen this century
I’m not sure the fact that so many people think Rosie Holt is genuinely an MP says more about her skills as a satirist (she is very good), or the utter ridiculousness of the current crop of Tory MPs
+1 on that, the whole time I was confused whether she was acting along, or was a Tory politician making a 'this is why I'm still better than Labour'. Well, she succeeded in both, so...
The Tory plan is always the same - Continually reduce the rate of taxation on the only people who still have any money and shift the entire burden onto the backs of struggling working-class citizens and blame the grasping poor and elderly for the lack of public funds and the deterioration of most people’s quality of Life.
Its hilarious that the Tories have fallen so far that people in the comments actually believed she was a real MP. The tell that she isn't is that she is able to string a sentence together without lying to your face.
Liv Struss is more recognizably fake. (The recommendations alongside this very video for me have a video with Rosie Holt in character, and there's really no way to know from thumbnail and title alone if one doesn't look the name up.) If you have never seen Nerine Skinner, who also has a RU-vid channel, and you enjoy Rosie Holt, you might enjoy Liv Struss as well. Nerine actually had to put the word "parody" into some of her video titles.
You almost had me going there for a moment Binny old chap! Rosie Holt, satirist with a plan. A beautiful plan. The planniest of plans that ever planned a planning.
so are most politicians these days. i wouldnt put it past them trying to get the binface votes as a last ditch attempt to maintain some kind of voter base
Well, that's what happens when you only ever ask all or nothing questions, and shout all or nothing answers. You resolve nothing and devolve into tribal alegances where you only hear rhetoric, as in an all or nothing environment, discussions and debates don't work.
Pretty sure that not recognising someone is not related to critical thinking. I kinda guessed from the tone near the end what was going on, but I still have no idea who she is.
Preparing for the next invasion of a middle eastern country, or maybe preparing another bank bailout, or another economic disaster... Amazing how short peoples' memories are!
@@johnw574As an economist I can tell you that Brown's intervention in 2008 saved the British economy from a MAJOR collapse and it was the austerity policies of the following decade that locked in the economic stagnation which plagued the UK ever since. The ignorance and prejudice which lurks in Britain's political thinking just amazes me, the ability to argue black is white and that water flows uphill seems to be normal. Being a Conservative was fine by me, but why is it so many Conservatives appear to have jumped off the ship of reality and gone swimming in the sea of populist lunacy, ignorance and prejudice?
So, what exactly is the plan? Was there ever a plan? Can we see the plan? Is it a really really good plan? Tories really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Binface for PM!
@@acciidYes and I am certain that the Tories will blame Count Binface for Sidiq Khan winning. Like they are trying to blame Deform UK for splitting their vote.
Why would a well respected politician be seen with a ridiculous joke candidate who has no chance of winning? Binface should choose his friends more carefully.
You got me! Good job! Although it is worrying I couldn’t tell the difference between reality and satire. And people will happily support them all they have done 4 years let alone 14.
the thing is, she has comedic tone but i know shes being dead serious about the plan Edit: to the geniuses replying to me saying its a joke.. my comment is too.
Please tell me that was an actor and not a real MP that thought she was going to appeal to the younger voters by using the Count's fame and adding a hashtag.
@@TREVORALLMAN Thanks mate and hats off to her, you got to be pretty skilled at your job to mimic incompetence so well that I actually thought she was a Tory MP!!
I GENUINELY can’t tell if she is being sarcastic, it seems like it with “they’ll say, what a REALLY good plan”, but all the Tories seem to talk like that now
If you took all of her empty words about her "plan" and had an AI say it in Trump's voice then people could easily believe he said it irl She just missed out an extra couple "it's an amazing plan, the best plan, there's never been a plan like it" platitudes but other than that it was spot on
