Countdown, is 42 years of age next year! It is now presented by Jimmy Carr without the countdown rules! The contestants, are celebrities as well! Rachel Riley, is still doing their numbers and letters! And, Susie Dent is still in the corner, with different famous faces! They are even writing fake funny words, that don’t even exist! And, they still are receiving points for the funny unreal words! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jason, looks like Thomas! From Full Of life down in Ladbroke Grove! It was funny, to see Richard Whiteley come out of a book on the first show of countdown in the year 2000! That was when, I was one year of age! I was born in 1999! Countdown, is 42 years old next year! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No countdown presenter, except Richard Whiteley, is very good on the numbers round! And, no countdown present there, has played along to the letters round! Richard Whiteley included! And, no countdown present there, has played along to the letters round! Richard Whiteley included! Countdown was very confusing at first! Because, nearly everybody, had their first name, which was Richard! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
In the first round, I also saw PURITANS and had two sevens (aside from the singular) as well: UNSTRAP and TURNIPS. In the second round, I had RECODES, in addition to DOCKERS. In the third round, I had FAMINES and SEAMING. In the first numbers round, I had two solutions that omitted the large number. I always challenge myself to solve it this way when there are one-large games with low targets. 5 x 5 = 25 25 + 3 = 28 4 + 2 = 6 28 x 6 = 168 5 + 3 = 8 8 x 5 = 40 40 + 2 = 42 42 x 4 = 168 I also had a couple of alternatives based on solving it with the 50: 5 + 5 = 10 10 x 3 = 30 30 + 4 = 34 50 + 34 = 84 84 x 2 = 168 50 / 2 = 25 5 / 5 = 1 25 - 1 = 24 4 + 3 = 7 24 x 7 = 168 In the fifth round, I also had MONGRELS, and ORANGES for seven. In the sixth round, I think REBORING was the only eight, so it's no surprise I got scooped, but I also had BRINGER and PROBING among the sevens. In the seventh round, I also had DEATHLY, as well as DENTAL and LATHED for six. In the final numbers round, I tried finding the target without the large number again: 10 x 8 = 80 80 + 6 = 86 86 x 2 = 172 172 + 1 = 173 And then I tried one leaving adding by 25 as the last step. Coincidentally, it uses the same three numbers in the first two steps. 10 x 8 = 80 80 - 6 = 74 74 x 2 = 148 148 + 25 = 173 And I got the conundrum. It was a bit of a giveaway having the first four letters in the correct order that they appear in the answer.
I couldn’t agree more with you! Everybody enjoys countdown big time! A lot of people, don’t realise, that countdown, was the first program for Channel 4 on television! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Spock had already had to endure several beamings this week and he was not looking forward to more. Each time MaCoy had insisted on reprobing him on his return.
Don’t you mean holy cow? Nobody says, holy cows! There is no such shocked catchphrase as that! The catchphrase, only is, holy cow! I am so happy for you! Because, you were born five days, straight after this edition of countdown! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
