Loved Countdown pre 2005. I was only 13 but loved coming home to watch this show after school.

Countdown made me the person I am today. I watched it as a toddler and it helped me read before I could speak. It actually helped me learn how to talk. I eventually spoke in full sentences when I was 4. I was diagnosed with autism when I was 2 and was told that I might not have learned how to speak at all. It's allowed me to write out the silly wee stories in my head. Honestly I love this show so much, I'm glad I looked up old Countdown episodes at 2am xD Thanks so much for archiving these you're doing God's work ❤

In the UK, July 4th is a day of mourning. (2x4x25 + 8 - 3 + 1)

You have to admire Jason Byrne, staying on TV for so long without a humorous bone in his body. I cringe every time I hear the fella open his mouth. Absolutely insufferable.
