I remember this episode - Downing having a unique method of attempting to solve letters games - sad that it didn't pull off so well. Notably he had appeared on The Crystal Maze five months previously.

Oh yes - I'd forgotten about that. Wow, Chain Letters, that's a blast from the past. Went through more presenters than I've had hot dinners! Six presenters in seven years - I bet no game show has had such a proportionately skewed number of presenters per number of series!

According to Wiki Apterous, yes, as well as the Krypton Factor. I believe he used to own a RU-vid account which contained videos of all his game show appearances.

I've been trying to find some guidance on how to do the numbers rounds better. I know some tips but I'm not consistent and I can't usually do them in 39 seconds. Can anybody point me towards some resources? I don't know how Carol or Rachel do it. Who on Earth knows their 71 times table?
