My solution to the second numbers game: 7-1=6 6 x 100 = 600 50 / 10 = 5 5 + 4 = 9 600 + 9 = 609

5x2 is 10, 10 by 50 is 500, 7+5+9 is 21, 500 -21 :)

I always image there is a team behind the scenes looking for words and then passing their findings onto the dictionary corner.Maybe it's just Suzie Dent that gives this impression?

The thing I like most about watching old episodes of TV programs is how the set design changes with the times. This now feels positively retro to me while at the time it would have been seen as up to date and contemporary... but I never really liked mid 2000s decor anyway. Too bright!

4:41 Can anybody explain the Yorkshire rent man joke? I don't get it. It sounds like he says "Shin Tin". I don't understand and have no idea how it relates to Yorkshire.

"Shintin" or "she int' in" is how a Yorkshireman would pronounce "she isn't in", an excuse you may give to the landlord when he shows up demanding rent
