I was discharged from British army training recently I was told I can reapply in 2 years wether that he for the army or a different branch. The Royal Marines are something different like next level different. I’m gonna use this 2 years to work for this opportunity. 💪

I've always respected the british as an argentinian. War is war and there shouldn't be any hatred between us and the brits.

My grandfather was a Commando during the war and we still don’t know exactly what he did even after his passing. What we do know is that all he did was done to protect us, and that hasn’t changed. Thank you Marines.

US Infantry Marine here. Hats off to the production quality here showing the raw reality of this kind of work. We tend to make our PR (recruiting) videos look like friggin' video games or some woke shit. I had the honor of training with Royal Marines in Norway and they are solid. US Marines are structured differently with specialized units in the fleet but overall way too bloated and conventional. I wish we'd scale down and remodel similar to RMs.

When you walk through those gates at CTCRM on day 1, you instantly know you’ve joined the best there is. You can all rest knowing you have a very special band of elite individuals protecting you all.

Back in the 90s I had the pleasure and honour to work with the guys from 42 (and 45) as a civilian instructor. Yes, they really are special forces. Royal Marines are so much more than just ‘Bootnecks’, smart, intelligent, effective and resilient. And I’m so glad they’re on our side; I’d hate to be an enemy!

This must be a very exciting specialist role for lads within 4-2 and RM in general to be part of. I think specialist boarding and counter narcotics roles have been the responsibility of 4-2 previously, however, some of the added tasks as depicted in this presentation may have been the responsibility of SF (SBS or SAS Boat Troop) until fairly recently prior to the development of UKSF Support units such as UKSFSG. Some of the lads shown here with concealed facial shots may well have been SBS Operators. I hope many of the guys who conduct these types of operations do take that next obvious step to SF. Lastly, the new development of `Gravity`s` new `jet pack` flying suit will undoubtedly play a large role in the military, especially with SF teams on various tasks, especially for Maritime CT and will make boarding a vessel much, much easier! I’m impressed as I am with all the top of tier 1 and 2 operators. I know how hard they train and I only want to be young again and only train for something like this and have a high security clearance in order to achieve the greatest levels.

Great recruiting video.

This is the sort of thing that should be used as a recruiting video, not the namby pamby shite that the army is using these days ie "am I allowed to cry" or "am I allowed to wear ladies underwear on operations" type of advert they've been using for the last few years. The armed forces engage with "bad" people and kill them. That's what's going to motivate your average 19 year old to enlist. Ads with helicopters and guns are more appealing than the wet adverts that we've been seeing. Nutters will be screened out during the selection process. At least this shows what some of us already know, the Royal Marines are an elite unit with a very broad skillset.

My Dad was in the Royal Navy years ago. My Parents hadn't been a couple after I was a young child, yet my Dad was an incredible influence, teaching me in the absence of any academic influence, how an Episodic memory is best utilised with biometric facial and other sensory recognisions, especially when biometry software was unheard of. I learnt the kind of sense of adventure that ignored the kinds of concerns that most people thought of as hurdles between them & progress. Logical thinking, letting environments reveal their own fruitful journey paths, reliance on adaptable talents and enjoying achieving the goals of a mission, were learnt & evolved every day, into every year. December 17th, 2022., celebrates the completion of the 1st Fifty years of my my having been Human Trafficked after my Parents separated of 1972. The Modern Slavery statute 2016 now entitles me to be supported as 'that' 7yr old child of 1972, and considered "rescued" as though rescued on the 1st day of the Human Trafficking. Technically, that 'rescue' shouldn't ignore the re're're're're Human Trafficking that culminated in my being here 1.5 decades. The consideration of 'rescued', given its statutory ordinary meaning, should provide that I am exempt from the myriad of crime demography associated of these Human Trafficking pyramids. Realistic estimations assert that nationally, England could have between 200 and 500 Fraud pyramids, with aprox 500 people per ponzi scheme pyramid, ranging aprox a 5 mile - 20 mile radius, each. That is, per each City, accross each Country. Using an average, with the calculation achieved from the original knowledge of one vicinity of Human Trafficked families with very young children, us who were the children being GrandParent age (my Mum was re'Trafficked last October 2021, to the Pines of Wandsworth SW18, where Kingston Hosp Trust & Richmond council Adult Safeguarding services both gave agreement to me that each data system of theirs reflects my Mum's situational circumstance as a Human Trafficking case and Wandsworth Council Adult Services got involved with the case as an emergency, last December 2021, yet zero change of circumstance and zero improvements have occured since and zero sightings of her have happened between her & me, the last aprox six months. Recognition talents biometrically did assert the familial involvement of the Saltoun Rd se24 Crack cocaine dealers female family member being a staff member where my Mum was being Trafficked to and the association, though distant, of them & the prendagast family associated of original 1970s Barnes South London Human Trafficking & the flower stall at Brixton Tube & the fruit & veg stall between the small supermkt & Boots chemist, Brixton Rd. A relative known as Dougie was recognised as a relative of the 1970s Barnes Prendagasts who were an incest family (no secret, the original sister, wife & mother shouted out her truths from a top window of a council estate, to me, in a conversation where I had commented on the facial similarity of her & her husband, whom she confessed was her brother. That incest couple had 2 known children, same age group as me. Rus prendagast was part of the same racist gang as a chap known now as the neighbour beneath my home and rus' sister Nicola married a chap known as Ian and they were both the neighbours above where my lived & was Re'Human Trafficked from (see Facebook tess.mccaffery with the history from 1970s.)

Those 7 inch wide caving ladders are no joke. I used one as part of an obstacle course in broad daylight and it was challenging then. Couldn't imagine having to use one at night, on rolling seas, and in 15+ lbs of kit.
