Some part of my brain reproduced this sound, and for a week I was trying to remember where it came from. But I secretly knew all along - it was from one of the greatest online shooters of all time - Counter Strike: Condition Zero.

Just realised that in the main manu of Condition Zero and Deleted Scenes the CTs are from cs 1.6. The first one is the retail version of Gsg-9 from cs 1.6 and the other one is the retail version Gign from cs 1.6. While the CTs from cs 1.6 main manu screen are the beta versions for gsg-9 and gign. (The beta version of gsg-9 had a red camoflaged helmet and green googles while the retail version has a yellow pale camoflaged helmet with gray googles).
I remember two servers I played on and had fun. One was a paintball server and the other had modern warfare 2 weapons. I was honestly impressed by the mw2 one, because it had all the weapons fully modeled and animated, complete with iron sights!
