From what I'm aware, there's really no reason to not use flaming arrows/bolts, absolutely annihilates enemy units (wasn't sure if it was raining in this battle). I feel like it would have made this tactic even more effective. Maybe even archers on flaming shot instead of slingers. I'm not sure if that's something you want to try out in the future? Regardless, another nice battle Oakley!
Hey Oakley, would you ever consider doing a unit overview for different factions? Also, do you also think it's weird that in the faction selection screen, the Saxons have an awesome looking axe unit, however he doesn't actually exist in the game? Also also, do you think CA will release an axe unit dlc pack, releasing new axemen units for every faction?
Fizzy Purple can't remember if he have the axe though, but i think so... didn't played much with them.. i'm having trouble finding a faction for me to play lol
Staggered formation. Ever since Empire/Napoleon the way to go when using a lot of missile troops and dealing with an enemy stronger on cavalry. Nice one, this was like a textbook example :)
Do a little bit of campaign man. I played a bit recently and its been really nice. Needs a bit of optimization, but yea, if you wanna get the full extent of the features/upgrade from r2, campaign should be awesome.
Can you maybe once do a live battle, not a replay. I would like to see you while you are thinking of how to approach the battle instead of hearing you talk about a battle you already know everything about.
yeah Hywooz is right if you want that roman era then get rome 2 otherwise attila is way better in every aspect than rome 2 and finally it's your choice buy the game in which you would be having fun
