Like what the zionists are doing to people of Gaza (who are themselves likely descendants of the Hebrews, while the zionists are Ashkenaz descendants of barbarian tribes of the north).
And yet billion and billions imperial soldiers are fed into the meat grinder without a bad feeling Tyranids are atrong yes but they wouldn't stabd a chance IF imperial forces and orcs would make a coalition imagine orcs in front and imperials in sec line gosh that would be the ultimate meat grinder of Pure madness and also if IF imperium wouldn't stagnate in actual scientific inventions re inventions than no force would withstand that Power especially with that cult implemented
Congratulations. I read Sallust's "Jugurtine War" when I was in college. But I didn't understand a lot at the time because I lacked more knowledge about Roman history. This video series is great and encouraged me to reread that classic book.
Why are winners always seen as geniuses and losers as fumbling fools, why not they were good they were just sick that day, or they made 1 little mistake
To have a perfectly able man at your side, to dress you up and wash your clothes, cook your meals and clean your shit, then leave it in the tend while you risk your life in a shield wall. Spartans Logic.
"Attila" is my 4th Total War, so it was not as much "wow" as the 1st. Just "another" great game to manage the army, economic and administration. But the music of the menu screen is outstanding, sth memorable, the one in whole series.
While it’s true that Finnish resistance was valiant, I think it’s important to remember that they lost. They avoided annihilation, but to me it’s not clear that was the Soviet objective anyway - it seems like the Soviets got basically everything they actually wanted. And while they paid a high price, it exposed serious weaknesses in the Red Army in time for them to make some changes before Barbarossa; you could make the case that by fighting instead of conceding Soviet demands, the Finns indirectly allowed the Soviets to resist the Germans much more effectively, and the end result would have been better for them if all those vulnerabilities had remained hidden. And then when the whole thing got fought for real in ‘44 the Finns just got absolutely crushed. It’s true the Soviets paid a huge price in blood in ‘39-‘40, but was it worth getting 25,000 of their own soldiers killed just to kill a bunch of Soviets and then be forced into a peace you were going to have to live with anyway? Finland never had the capacity to seriously resist the Soviets, just as they couldn’t resist the Russians now (not without allies anyway) and just as Ukraine can’t now. These stories of supposed military glory are highly dangerous for small countries. The mismatch in terms of fighting skill between the Soviets and Finns was about as extreme as one can reasonably imagine, the Finns still lost, and it’s really unclear that their resistance bought them a better result.
Why are they all depicted as brown in this video when they were not described that way in the books? Chani Has Red Hair, there might have been darker fremen in the books but this video just makes them all non-white.
I could not imagine serving 25 years and being told ‘here is some land to farm.’ It’s a generous retirement for sure. But I did 22 years and I can barely keep up with my yardwork. Everything hurts. I suppose I have the luxury of feeling sorry for myself, though.
Created antidotes vs toxins besides having used poisons . Built up his own tolerance levels patricide by mother common also to Alexander ." Just because you think they re out to get you doesnt mean they are not out to get you " and with his family history you can see theres foundation to his paranoia. Puffer fish and beetle toxins creates the Haitian zombie. Salt is the antidote .
How??? Ha-ha. USSR did not want Finland. It only wanted to have the border removed further from Leningrad. Offered a territorial swap, but Finns would not accept. So, the border was moved anyway. Something that helped to defend Leningrad during WW2.
Ploutarhos said about the way to america Also when diogenis talked with alexander the great in corinthos he mentioned the big continent after atlantic ocean
The truth is that the Roman army suffered its worst defeat at the hands of the people of Yemen. There was a civilization in Yemen called Sheba. It was the greatest and largest civilization in the Arabian Peninsula and it was a prosperous civilization. Everything that is spoken about the Nabataean Minister Saleh is not true. Yemen has throughout its unbeatable history. The Yemenis have defeated the Romans, but all of this. forgery
…murdered by Germanic tribesmen: sort of an anticlimactic end for the traitor Arminius….if the Romans had the good fortune of having captured him alive, they could’ve crucified him in the Colosseum during one of their festivals.
I don’t get the idea that while being shelled people are just gonna pick up dragon teeth and Move them outta the way like it’s so easy to do anything while being Shot at.
As a woman, Fremen menstruation sounds fascinating. Instead of monthly periods, the women might have 6 or less periods per year. Without sounding too gross, the periods might be little dried clots like beef jerky bits mostly devoid of water.
