Counterparts - Jumping Ship 

The quality doesn't change seeing them in person. So solid.

My favorite melodic hardcore band bar none. I also like hundredth and rise against but counterparts just has the perfect level of heavyness and technicality.

They've always managed to find a monster drummer. Love this band.

Counterparts is one of my all time favorite bands. I think that they don't deserve being so unknown. For that reason I wrote to a radio show host in Sweden's only rock station and he played it and thought it was awesome. And beleive me, he know what he's doing. He's a member of a rock band himself. We should all try to get Counterparts out there!

I get so damn happy by this song! I almost feel sorry for people who totally trash this kind of music. Everybody in my class hate Melodic Hardcore and Metalcore so I listen to Counterparts at lessons at very low volume ;)

Saw these guys about a week ago. They seriously were the best. It gave me chills how much heart these guys put into their music.

Best album of this band also best drummer they had.

Don´t know why is everyone talking shit about victory records, is the only label that tries to promove the evolution of the underground music scene without limiting themselves to stereotypes based formulas. This band is really fresh and makes me remember the energy that existed when the 2003 to 2005 scene poped up. Great drummer also

The vocals sound more like hardcore from the late 90s and early 2000s, but the instrumentals is the newer hardcore sound. This is so awesome

the sound mix is great. so far this album sounds like the natural progression forward from prophets and i absolutely love it.

Counterparts is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.

Even if I didn't like COUNTERPARTS(speaking hypathetically since I love them) I would still respect them as people on this earth. They have worked their asses off to get to where they are today, and they deserve to be signed to a major label like Victory.

24 years old love the music I've watched hardcore evolve these young punks posting on here don't remember when Atreyu was good, From Autumn to ashes, Poison the well those are a few of the bands who paved the way.

I actually can't take this anymore. Victory Records have been nothing but amazing to us. Fuck any other label that YOU wanted us to sign to. They either offered us a shit deal, or we had friends on the label that told us to stay the fuck away. Victory signed us after TCWCU was already written, and they didn't tell us to change a god damn thing. Thanks to everyone out there who actually supports us, and knows that we aren't mentally retarded. Our musical integrity isn't going anywhere, thank you.

and i personally dont really care who they sign with. the thing i care about imo the most is them sticking to their roots. theyre Canadian and signed with an American record label (nothing wrong with that). pretty much all of my favorite bands are from the states. but these guys are CANADIAN and always will be. as long as they show that shit loud and proud and keep making this awesome music, i dont care what they do...

This was an awesome video shoot to be a part of, wouldn't have it any other way, and had one of my favourite nights of all time. I've always loved and supported this band ever since I started listening to them, nothing will ever make me stop listening to them. Their music and lyrics are inspiring and I can always feel a connection to some of their songs whenever I listen to them whether it'd be good times or bad.

Just went to warped tour, wore my counterparts shirt. Shook Mat Bruso's hand in the ghost inside pit. Met the ghost inside, got all their autographs, and got compliments from vigil and Aaron on my shirt. Best day of my fucking life.
