Middle East countries are just unstable by nature. Venezuela is unstable because they're trying out Socialism, which kicked out all the US oil companies, making thier oil industry collapse. Russia is unstable for many reasons, They never truly left the communist mindset therfore they basically have a dictator who has dragged them into a ridiculous war.
Russia destabilized itself. Could have easily continued keeping Europe hooked on its energy sources, but stupidly had the need to subdue Ukraine. As if it didn’t share a border with several other western aligned countries 🤡

Thats the real reason why the U.S.A. wants to help countries like Somalia and Venezuela. Such good people (the government), right? What a big heart they have.
Every country wants to blame the USA for their own problem, when they can't govern themselves and when they have failed governments that can't govern their countries. If one country in the world the (USA) has that much power and influence over the whole world, then something is terribly about the world. I guess it's much easier to look on the outside for blames, then it is to look within for internal solutions. Great leaders don't blame others, great leaders look for solutions within.
Oil reserves in the US can provide opportunities for investors to benefit from the performance of the oil industry and potentially earn profits as the country's oil reserves play a significant role in the economy and global energy markets. However, it's crucial to thoroughly research and understand the risks associated with investing in this sector, such as volatility in oil prices, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes.
Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, but it's getting stronger compared to other currencies and things like gold and property. People are turning to the dollar because they think it's safer. I'm worried about my retirement savings of about $420,000 losing value because of high inflation. Where else can we keep our money?

The adviser I'm in touch with is Camille Alicia Garcia, she works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else, for me her strategy works hence my result. she provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.
Thank you for the information. I conducted my own research and your advisor appears to be highly skilled and knowledgeable. I've sent her an email and arranged a phone call. Her expertise is impressive, and I'm eagerly anticipating our conversation.
Exactly! That explains why Oil doesn't mean the same for everybody when it comes to profits. The richest countries are the ones with the lightest Oil and easiest procedures of extraction. Among the types of Oil, the best is called precisely *Dubai Light* followed by *West Texas* and in the other end the *Nord Sea Brent.* The West Texas' is now called Intermediate Texas' and the Dubal Light is not mentioned anymore although it keeps flowing.

VZ has a lot of reserves, but it is heavy crude, which is more costly to refine than Saudi or US crude. You need to recognize each barrel is not the same.
No todo el petróleo venezolano es pesado, si gran parte pero no todo, además, al ser pesado es más rico en componentes y por lo tanto, más riqueza se le puede extraer.
Fascinating. I suppose these are "proven reserves," a number that changes as oil is pumped and more is found. Also, the price of oil is variable; whatever these numbers, they will daily change. Also, the quality of oil in each case, whether "heavy" or "Light," will be individually subject to market fluctuations. But a fascinating display, as many of these are. Interesting to note that lotsa oil doesn't mean riches. Government incompetence is a much stronger force.
Green River formation in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah contains 1.5 TRILLION barrels of recoverable oil. Or about 300 years worth of current global oil consumption.
Last time US consume 10-mil bpd was in late 1950s, today oil consumption in the US is around 20-mil bpd. USA 20-mil bpd or Yearly Gallon Per Capita 940 China 12.5-mil bpd or Yearly Gallon Per Capita 138 India 4.5-mil bpd or Yearly Gallon Per Capita 51 Japan 4.1-mil bpd or Yearly Gallon Per Capita 481 Saudi Arabia 3.5 mil bpd or Yearly Gallon Per Capita 1,560 I read these statistics in 2021 and after pandemic these numbers may change for all countries but not a lot specially not for the US
This graph briefly explain entire geo politics. If any country from top 25 to top 10 is not controlled by the USA directly or indirectly then these countries will have some kind of political instability. If any top 10 country is not controlled by the USA directly or indirectly then those countries will be sanctioned! 1. Venezuela 3. Iran 5. Iraq (used to be under the sanctions until the country destroyed by the US and allies ) 6. Somalia 9. Russia 10. Libya (used to be under the sanctions until the country destroyed by the US and allies )
Well you simply don’t understand geopolitics then. The sanctions placed on Russia, Venezuela, Iran and Somalia have nothing to do with oil. The instability in Venezuela was inflicted by their dictator, Somalia is a clan based state, obviously Russia was sanctioned for their invasion. And many other countries aren’t ‘controlled’ by the U.S. The US (as well as any large country buying oil like China and India) want stability so supply isn’t compromised. All of these countries have trade deals with each other. No one is under anyone else’s ‘control’ How are you going to argue that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, and even Canada are controlled by the US? Research for yourself instead of making assumptions that are easily debunkable

The thing about Somalia is that it only has a population of around 20 million and could be transformed in a single generation if the future oil, gas and uranium revenues were handled correctly. Sometimes I wish Black Hawk Down never happened because all the Super Majors were already investing time and money for the future drilling of potential reserves and the country could have enjoyed decades of development at high oil prices rather than conflict.
For Somalia the amount shown is offshores only not Onshore which xould almost double the amount if exploited. One onshore plot recently has 5 billion barrels

There are many hard to reach deposits worldwide, an embarrassment of riches almost within reach. Like Canada’s oil is in the form of oil sands, so the process of filtering and refining is more expensive than the usual methods. The amount of water it takes to separate and the amount of pollution it creates is really something to keep in mind. The best example is Saudi, it’s in the ground and is pure black liquid, the best reserve to have.
The one bonus Canada does get is clean sand after the process. It is a very energy intensive process but I suppose Canada could argue all the oil sand land is technically polluted and unusable
Canada is the most environmentally responsible producer of oil on the planet. The world needs MORE Canadian oil. The world needs LESS dictator oil, like Saudi.
Not all of it is in oil sands, but the reserves that are not in oil sand form are in some of the most remote and inhospitable area of the world. Building the facilities, extracting and transporting that oil would be insanely expensive.
It's obvious from this video that any country with more oil reserves than the United States had better watch out. I'm starting to worry about Canada. EDIT: The Canada remark is facetious, grim humor.

The thing missing from this is the ability to actually reach that oil, process and transport it as well as the know how to do all this. Most of the higher reserve nations mentioned are war zones and if not will soon be war zones when America decides to take I mean bring democracy to them.
Dude the last thing American companies want is to go to these unstable countries. Venezuela and Russia for instance have tons of reserves; but they also have TONS of corruption and instability. You don’t want to deal with that. We still go to countries where they are open and want to share the revenues. The problem is the corruption that exist in some of those countries.
