😂 It might have been core of Yuan dynasty but not Mongol empire . Mongol empire was founded in todays modern day Mongolia by Genghis Khan himself and established his capital in Karakorum (todays Mongolia) . Inner Mongolians are the ones who betrayed the great khan Ligden ( Mongolia’s last great khan) and allied with Manchus to conquer Han Ming dynasty . So basically saying you’re one of those Chinese or mix Chinese who wants to claim more authority over Mongolian history .

Vietnam is really hard to conquer due to their land structure . Even modern empire like USA failed so it isn’t surprising, during Mongol-Viet war they mostly fled and avoided direct confrontation cuz you know Mongols army were superior than any army at the time . They were like todays USA .
