There are actually three tallest mountains in the world. Everest is highest above sea level. Chimborazo is furthest from the center of the earth. And Mauna Loa (the tallest Hawaiian peak whichever it is) is the tallest from the base of the mountain, which is the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.
Y'all forgot India's tallest peak, Mt. Kanchenjungha on the Himalayas. Measuring at 8586 m., it is the third-tallest peak in the world after Everest and K2.

Only problem I have is the mountain one. The most accurate way to measure their size is by where there base is relative to sea level, then subtract their height from sea level. That is the best way to measure a mountains height
