I doubt about India. Looking at China, it took 70 years for China to become a industrial power it is today. India is just getting started. And you can't forget the heavly agricultural dependent economy. Even after 70 or 50 years India is more likely to become a high 2nd world country. Because of lasting corruption and equality. Same goes for China. China is in a bad situation with a horrible housing crisis and falling economic growth.

At the current rate China's military will be stronger overall before 2030. In reality America won't be able to afford the same military spending as they had in past years due to the current and upcoming economic issue, which btw has affected America far worse than China. Finally, America soured their relationship with Saudi's Arabia recently because they threatened to sell them less weapons. As a result they will no longer be receiving oil from the Saudi's. So my educated guess is that China will catch up approximately 5 years before 2030, 2025 sounds realistic.
